If I was Sengoku, I'd want that DF to stay with the Marines. Given everything that Corazon stood for, it'd be an immense slap to the face of his legacy if it wound up in the hands of the people that killed him...pirates.

totally agree with that but let's not forget about Law too! if the DF went to a pirate, such as Yamato in Kaido's crew, there could be 2 interesting scenario : he is an ennemy who gets to fight against Law or he becomes an ally (and helps to fight Apoo...) but with some weird interactions going on between him and Law

Yeah that would definitely create an interesting dynamic between the two.
