Danzo relied on a potent hax dojutsu, Obito was trained in genjutsu by madara. Obito actually has the skills and talent to use a Komo level genjutsu without the hax ability.

I mean Zetsu is just commenting on what he is seeing...he didn't even know Itachi's true plan lmao so of course he'd react like that, also Zetsu is far from infallible, he said Amaterasu was unavoidable even though many characters have avoided it, most blatantly the Raikage, and he also said Kirin was impossible to react to, moments before Itachi reacts to it, those are just two of many during Itachi and Sasuke's fight alone.

Obito has practically zero Genjutsu resisting feats iirc, no reason to just arbitrarily say he can break out of one of the strongest Genjutsu in the verse without any feats to support it.

It's not arbitary, Sasuke laid out the blueprint. You can train your Sharingan to be able to cast and dispell strong genjutsu. Obito has the most genjutsu feats in the story aside from maybe EOS Sasuke. To think he wouldn't be as skilled in the Sharingan Gejutsu as Taka Sasuke is imo dumb

Only if we agree Taka Sasuke did indeed break out of it on his own which is hardly confirmed at all, Taka Sasuke was massively inferior to Itachi in every regard, the only time Sasuke's Dojutsu was ever stated to equal or surpass Itachi's was when he got EMS iirc, so it doesn't really make any sense for Sasuke who again is inferior to Itachi in every way to break out of one of the strongest Genjutsu in the verse cast by a MS user, it makes far more sense for Itachi to have let it happen and then played along as if Sasuke broke out of it himself.

It does make sense as long as you take it at face value. Sasuke trained his eye to break a high level genjutsu. Sasuke's base sharingan was already praised as having more potential than Itachi's by Oro

Really? the closest I remember of a comparison between the two is Kabuto saying the 2 have strong sharingans, but that's it. Oh and Danzo shitting on Sasuke for not having Tsukiyomi

Anyways, like I've said before DMS Obito is probably the most broken character in the story. The only people who can compete are god levels and maybe Hashi

Naruto has/had hard counter against Amaterasu though. He can just use TB cloak to absorb Amaterasu and throw the cloak off afterwards. (Mind you though that Naruto was one of the, if not the, best sensors in the series at the end.)
Back to the question, Obito has one of the best eye abilities in the series, he wins.

That same Kamui was able to even put a hole into the shield Madara formed from his truth seeking orbs, which are used to basically neutralize all Ninjutsu.

I don’t think it was just a “fraction.” Post-death Obito should be granted the height of his Rikudo powers outside of being a host, so when he stole from Madara. That was enough to form a staff too. And Kakashi could use the same Rikudo Raikiri that Rikudo seal Sasuke could use.

But everything else is correct. Kamui was the most broken eye jutsu there ever was, better than Sasuke’s Substitution Jutsu eye lmfao.

(We'll see how this affects the theoretical 1v1).

Regarding Susanoo, Obito's has Kamui shurikens (goated against big targets) while Itachi has a shield that blocks even the love of yo mama and a blade that seals your ass after one hit. Pretty busted ain't it?

I was comparing both MS abilities in a neutral versus as to which one is better. If you are talking about other stats then it's pretty much up to the user. Imo all sharingans have the same capabilities (like Genjutsu, coping and seeing stuff...etc) it just depends on what the user focuses on or what the user is better that because of his talent. Like, "was Itachi that good at Genjutsus because he was Itachi or was Itachi that good at Genjutsus because of his own MS?" type of question
