The fact that Imu fears both Davy Jones and Joyboy, and both wanted to be king at some points they’re either the same person or they were competing for the same spot.

You know who else is competing with Luffy for the king title? Yeah, Teach.

Loki is just another side character, think of Yamato for example. I doubt Loki even overtakes guys like Kid in terms of relevance

We've seen how both characters act now, especially during god valley. What resemblance is there between the way Rocks acts and the way BB does? You've seen how BB got his fruit, his interactions with his crew, WB at marineford, and how he got to where he is now, and you seriously think he inherited Rocks will, especially after seeing gv now? Rocks made it clear that 2 DFs are require to beat imu. Imu vs luffy and BB is inevitable though luffy will be the one to ultimately take him.

The relationship between Teach and Xebec is similar to that of Ace and Roger, whose personality is inherited from Roger's, Luffy, who is Garp's son. Garp himself was Roger's friend.

This is similar to Xebec and Loki, whose character is the son of his friend, Harald.

Ace and Teach both ultimately lost because they possessed traits that deviated from their respective fathers, ultimately leading to the end of the story with Joy Boy and David Jones.

I think it makes more sense if Blackbeard inherited Davy's will but Loki inherited Xebec's will. Xebec would never be allied to the celestial dragons for his goals but BB wouldn’t mind. Meanwhile, Loki kinda has the same values Xebec has.

It’s a bit confusing since the goals are similar but it makes more sense to me. It's kinda like Luffy and Shanks, they both inherited Roger's will in some way but manifest it in different ways.

Again, it literally does not matter how Teach acts, he and Rocks share the same dream of becoming King of the world. Loki does not.

Basically the only 2 parallels that matter in the entire manga is
Roger-Luffy
Teach-Xebec

because they actually inherited their dreams, as opposed to some vague similarity

I think Blackbeard is more like Imu than Rocks, yes Rocks crew was not loyal but at lest they had some kind of moral code while Blackbeards crew is ruthless like Imus. I am not sure about Davy johnes but Loki seems to have inherented Rocks will to some degree.
