There is no narrative that says Roger and Luffy’s parallels are 1:1. Luffy doesn’t even have a WB equivalent (closest is actually Law but not really), the Garp equivalent being stronger than his right-hand is pure headcanon. Hell, we don’t even know if Garp was actually stronger than Rayleigh. Rayleigh in his old age has way better portrayal than Sengoku.
There is no narrative that says Roger and Luffy’s parallels are 1:1. If your training partner is leaps and bounds stronger than real battle opponents and your trainees partner is fighting you seriously for days on end that will result in bigger haki blooms than fighting scrubs.
You can't even provide an example that supports your point since rayleigh never once trained luffy seriously to the death and when luffy went to fight actual battles it was with people stronger than him meaning they were not scrubs. Seems like some of you people get that confused.
