I think its not the actual characteristics but the visual styling too that made Roger lose that appeal. Before he was a chad and now he looks like a manchild, an overgrown baby sort of thing. His lust for battle and dream could have been depicted in a better way. We have Luffy and Zoro who both love competition/fighting have that lust for battle and they are visually depicted differently sort of and it would have suited Roger more if his visual depiction was closer to Zoros.

Yeah there seems to be some confusion about @nik87s preferences here. I see too many people nominating him as Mihawk fanboy when in reality nik is a Zoro fan to the core and mostly wanks characters associated with Zoro (not all but he is mostly right too). If I remember correctly there was a time when nik was not rating Mihawk as high as he is now, in fact he had Zoro above Mihawk (@nik87 can clarify).

Chapter 100 page 28 - Ending scene for Dragon, ending with more intense wind around him.


Only other person who can cause a storm casually like that is another top tier named Big Mom, which is caused by Zeus & Prometheus.


Number 3: Wind Blast of high scale

One of the most overlooked large scale attack


It blasted away such an area that it made characters look like little ants.


Those people being in middle of the area impacted by that wind blast, but that area of where the people were is still a long distance away from where Dragon's ship was, with more than half that area to the ship being behind them as well, that is insane distance:



We then see Dragon standing there casually with his arms crossed on the ship talking to ivankov as the people run towards the ship, implying the wind blast was done casually


I don't know of anybody other than a top tier who has shown an attack on such scale.

My takes when power scaling Luffy are usually 99% correct.
Also, there is the #9 Sabaody order foreshadowing something...

Before I realized what Yoru being #1 means, I thought Zoro's superior style would overwhelm Mihawk.
This was also before I subscribed to the Strawhat's dreams being impossible.

I firmly believe Imu will end the story as Top 1 of all time, well above EOS Luffy who will likely need a power up, friendship buff, and a Kaido style gauntlet with plenty of food and sleep breaks to beat Imu.

He/she/it is the goat and perhaps the only true God Tier we are ever gonna see in the story.

Until Oda definitively establishes otherwise I would legit not be shocked if Imu could one shot guys like Roger with singular named attacks.

People just are not ready for the bullshit shonen power escalation for some reason.
