One got attacked by Vergo, the said attack was already blocked by jitte so the momentum of the attack was already reduced.
The other got punched in the face by enraged BigMom, without any losing momentum. Yet Vergo's victim was laying on floor helpless, while Big Mom's victim smiled.
Blame Oda that made Vergo's attack look more hurt than Big Mom's.

If I watched hybrid Kaido vs ACoC Luffy in a vacuum then I would think their attacks are trash. Kaido was eating every single one of ACoC Luffy's attacks. Overkong Gun effects lasted like two panels lmao. Gamma knife looked like it did way more damage in comparison. Oda doesn't bother making every single attack look monstrous or powerful, we know thru context they are

A TB lightning that only hits Law in the stomach (while he puts up a guard)
Linlin being on her back as she punches Law, which lessen her raw power
While Kid gets to be hit by Linlin's powerful attacks and punched from BM swinging normally as she's on her feet
