Mihawk can't possibly be overrated. His title is legit portrayal coming from the author and even the databooks affirm he is the strongest swordsman alive. Unlike singular character statements like they occurred with Kaido, this is also eventually why Zoro is calling the very WSC title a fraud. If there's one overrated character in here that's Kaido, certainly not Drakule.

They have always been portrayed as equals, at least that was shown at Whisky Peak and in Enies Lobby once Zoro unleashed his Asura, so it's not too different from a Naruto/Sasuke scenario in all honesty.

As we know that doesn't necessarily mean they have to be perfectly even for the entire duration of the manga, Zoro might very well be stronger for this one arc only.

Yonkos can split the heavens all they want, when that feat actually does something useful in a fight, I might praise it.
His title means exactly what it means - the strongest swordsman in the world, above any other swordsman.
Your mistake is thinking that devil fruits are superior to swords or that someone has better haki than Mihawk.
You can wank feats but you will have to do a 180° when Mihawk shows his, which will make you into a bad power scaler.

I dont think that's possible for anyone with WSx title... It literally says in your face that all 3 are the world's strongest...

No swordman or another top tier of rename clashed with Mihawk for what we know.
His visual feats are way below Admirals who can clash with a guy who can toy with a part of the ocean + tectonic plates.

His title doesnt mean anything aside that he is the most skilled swordsman at most, not the strongest among swordsman since many swordman doesn't focus on swordsmanship entirely because they have devil fruits or they can make up with better Haki.

Yes you get stronger after losing an arm. Perfect logic. also Lhanks didnt do any th ing significant for that yonko title
