Imo it wouldn’t make much sense thematically for the Scabbards to fight F6 because the F6 were not there 20 years ago when Oden was killed. Plus Ashura already called Jack a “small fry” so why would he fight a smaller fry?
they are the enemy ahura doesn’t need to hold grudge against everyone in the battlefield if they are beasts pirates they are the enemy it’s simple

Of course, but I’m talking about from a writing perspective. Oda will want to create matchups with the most emotional investment

Here's where it starts getting interesting.

Option One- Shogun Franky (backup with Brook?)

Option Two- Jinbei

Option Three- one of the stronger Scabbards

Option Four- Killer?

The tank and the bike are on the loose in Onigashima, so I'm expecting the Shogun to make a return. Sasaki's got the looks of a big, bulky guy, he's obviously one of the top Toppi Roppo, so him fighting two of the top mid tier Strawhats at once would be an all round hype affair and a great victory for Franky and Brook if they could pull it off.

Jinbei, I don't want, but it could happen. I'd rather Jinbei take on Jack, but there is very much the argument that he's got a grudge with Inu and Neko. I'd be very meh about the fight- don't think Jinbei really needs to prove himself any stronger than a non-Calamity, but it could happen.

A Scabbard, if Oda wants to focus on them. Just seems fair enough, two strong opponents going at each other. Kawamatsu's my favourite for that- again, two fishmen.

Killer- I think he's going to be involved in another fight, but again, Sasaki a strong opponent that would be a decent hypetool.

Killer vs Drake or Apoo makes more sense to me

I'm quite heavily expecting all the Worst Gen on Wano to try and fight Kaido now.

That might seem very dumb considering Apoo's literally just said he thinks that's a colossally stupid idea, but I think that's just setup for Apoo to become a Luffy fanboy.

From what we've got from Apoo's story
-introduced as cocky in Saobody, first shown in a fight with Kid
-again, very cocky with Kizaru, thinking he could land a hit in him and escape. That's pretty important characterisation.
-in the New World, at one point at least tried to attack Big Mom, and didn't even get close to seeing her without getting beaten
-is then working for Kaido and saying there's no chance in hell of defeating a Yonko, alliances were always going to end in betrayal etc

So his time in the New World seems to have kinda broken him. Or at least made him cynical. He was trashed by Kizaru, didn't even see Big Mom and was defeated and then ended up a stooge to Kaido. I think that's setup for him to see Luffy actually go for a Yonko, making a damn good fight of it, then Apoo decides to hell with it, he'll place his trust in Luffy and so on. Luffy reawakens his own pride as an individual pirate and he goes back to being the Apoo we first saw that was willing to attack an Admiral. If a Beast Pirate shouts at him for betraying him we'll see Apoo parrot the betrayal line he gave Kid

Drake's SWORD thing is too big a deal for me to think he's getting defeated by anyone on the Alliance. Especially since him and Law have already collaborated

I see Jinbe, see my previous posts about Sasaki and Jinbe's similar designs.

Not only that, but we have no idea how Jinbe got his scar, and I'm starting to believe that both Sasaki/Jinbe not only have history, but went to the same Dojo. Then at some unspecified point in the NW, Sasaki gave Jinbe his scar.

Just a fun theory for now.

Jinbe deserves a 1v1. Sasaki has a similar appearance to him so I feel like they will fight. Also, can we please stop trying to pit the mid trio or the weak trio against tobi roppo in 1v1s? These guys are supernova level.

Jinbei's feats and his hype are too good for me to think of Sasaki as a particularly interesting fight for him. Yes, it could happen, but I wouldn't be excited by it. The fights should be the Strawhats going above and beyond and defeating their foes. Their biggest achievement yet as pirates that really announces them as Great Pirates. That's nothing less than a Calamity for Jinbei- and Zoro and Sanji.
