As fas as i know the only thing we know about his strength is that Kaido believes Joyboy can win against him and this doesnt mean Joyboy>Roger because Kaido has already lost other fights.

Not trying to downplay Joyboy's strength at all and i wouldnt mind if he ends up as a demigod but we lack confirmation atm.
Luffy is already considered as the new "joyboy" but i think any sane person doesnt think he is stronger than Roger rn.
We just have to wait and see, sooner or later we will get the answer.
