We know that Hawkins is a man who makes his decisions solely based on what his cards tell him. If there is a low probability of success he won’t even try to defy fate. So this has me thinking, why did Hawkins join Kidd’s alliance to take down Shanks? I think most of us would assume that the Kidd alliance stood no chance against Shanks, but is there a chance that we are wrong? From what we know Hawkins was fully on board with the alliance unlike Apoo who was always a snitch. That is until Kaido showed up and his cards told them they had no chance against him. My question is, If Kidd and his alliance truly stood no chance against Shanks wouldn’t Hawkins have just known from his cards that their probability of success was low and not join?
I honestly think the Kidd alliance had some type of scheme or plan put in place to maybe assassinate Shanks and the probability of them succeeding was actually pretty high. It really makes me think, how would the Kidd alliance actually have done against Shanks with whatever plan they came up with?
Thoughts?
