How many times Zoro saved goofy from the apu which is goofy's vanshot. Zoro saved Goofy twice from big Mama. Zoro literally pulled Goofy out of kaido's mouth. Then Zoro saved Goofy and everyone else from Hakai. Immediately after about 30 minus of bones, gafi saved him from Kaido with the help of Ashura. Zoro saved gafi SEVEN TIMES in 30 chapters in vano. Maybe it's time to change the captain?.

If anything, it was Luffy who held back. No use of adv haki until his last attack.

Aokiji most likely not having awakening didn't gave his all. Maybe he couldn't use his awakening but gave his all without it. I could believe that.
And dude... Kizaru goal was to kill Vegapunk. Luffy was to protect. So Luffy was fully focused on Kizaru (the killer) while Kizaru was more focused on Vegapunk than at Luffy.
