There's a limit to how many excuses you could make for a character. Big Mom is consistently dumped on. @Admiral Lee Hung makes a respect thread, Oda goes yeah no, has her get clowned again by two fodders

They're all the same, just moments where Top Tiers are foiled by opponents far weaker than them and that are not to be taken seriously when it comes to power-scaling because it's just clear that they were nerfed for the sake of plot and the survival of the Straw Hats. So yes I will not use the scenes of BM being foiled by characters she would have annihilated without plot armor or convenience to protect them.

I believe that instead of being angry at her, we should be angry at the writter for clowning her in such a way. We have a female top tier, and instead of us being proud and happy she is there. We rag and bitch on her even tho it is not her fault but the way oda is treating a female top tier. I really think our anger and disappointment are misguided.

Something just occured to me after reading another forum, why is big mom not using her sword slashes while chasing chopper and usopp?

Everyone are underestimating the brachio tank which is a combined feat of Franky’s and Vegapunks engineering

Iron Franky is gonna massively stomp this arc. Iron Franky with Wapol Metal is already stronger than RS who is stronger than Zoro. I can see him defeating King. The only one that is being clowned is Franky who has been turned into a gag character (love him for that) but who is already a solid YC and a top one at that with Iron Franky. That one shot M3 tier system to hell. Iron Franky was the strongest directly after the timeskip
