And luffy in doing so beat the ever loving shit out of Katakuris familyβ¦ katakuri literally killed for people hurting his sister before, but now Luffy who kidnapped and terrorized brulee, beat the shit out of cracker, worked to assassinate Big Mom, and fight to destroy his family is A-Okay in Katakuris book. Yeah thatβs complete ass

Oh the Charlotte family is horrid. But katakuris entire character was built around him being that familyβs protector. Going so far as to a child katakuri murdering those who hurt brulee.

Heβs got a cool power, cool design, is honorable and is protective of his family. Im not sure why people hate him as a character? Even seen someone call him a dirtbag.
The ironic thing is, Sanji fans started wanking King when they thought he's gonna fight King while Zoro fans downplayed him (roronoa sama even said Monet~King) but when it was sure King fights Zoro again, the dynamic changed lol. But it was Oda's fault, there was a reason why King was known as King the Background since Oda hardly did show something in favor of King during the raid.

no he wasnt , right after wci I would argue he had peak popularity , lot of folks would argue ito his favor that he actually never lost to luffy.

it wasnt only "katakuri fans" who thought king was useless. zoro fans did too.
there's no other reason why any one would despise katakuri as a standalone character. you would have a hard time picking out one without it being pathetic.

I know his stupid ass is gonna say "No no, Kizaru isn't fighting Zoro!"
But like, who else is he fighting then?
If he fights Luffy it's going to be a 2v1 because Saturn is very likely fighting Luffy as well, so this means that the Admirals need a Gorosei to threaten a Yonko.
And if he doesn't fight Luffy or Zoro he's fighting Sanji, and at that point it's just embarrassing.
But like, who else is he fighting then?
