Kata is really cool. I can even see him coming back with ACoC and playing some role in elbaf trying to save Pudding.

But by feats, he’s on par with Queen.

Katakuri has always been a polarizing character from Oro Jackson to WG.

was a background character start of the arc
it wasnt only "katakuri fans" who thought king was useless. zoro fans did too.


there's no other reason why any one would despise katakuri as a standalone character. you would have a hard time picking out one without it being pathetic.

Some people like characters who embrace the MC and form mutual bonds of respect. Others think it’s really dumb he decided to validate Luffy and suck him off rather than stay true to his beliefs until the end. Comes down to personal taste.

Being one of two king fans on this forum, Wano was rough. Sanji fans used him for their agenda, Zoro fans downplayed him until he they actually clashed. And all the while Katakuri fans were shittng on him hard for zero reason

Kizaru is right here, and Zoro needs his clap back for Sabaody.
It's clear that in this case, Saturn's going to be the CD that was punched in Sabaody, while Zoro fights Kizaru and wins as a parallel to him getting shit stomped beyond belief in Sabaody.
It's not even about agenda at this point, this is something that actually seems very possible considering how Oda rolls.

You are convincing literally no one here that a zero skill, glorified punching bag is even remotely comparable to a Fs/CoC User with really good DF mastery & one of the most raw "skilled" fighters in this manga.

And he ain't landing a single hit on Katakuri anyway.

I still like him, i just gave up on arguing his Powerlevel. He's still on par with Marco though.

I don't mind him as a character. Though it is fun to make fun of him for the Oven incident.

The only thing I actively dislike about him was the scene where he slaughtered all the chefs just for seeing his face.

I don’t care to discuss what ifs lol. It’s pretty clear the best Zoro can hope for is to briefly skirmish with Kizaru, Zoro just extreme diffed a guy Ryokugyu neg diffed. Like I said Zoro needs to beat Mihawk before he can hope to face an Admiral as an equal.

Katakuri went from killing his own allies because they saw his face to bowing to the pirate who intruded his home, tried to kill his mom and beat his siblings.

Zoro extreme diffing him is the main reason why GB could neg diff him in the first place.
Imagine King didn't lose his sword, a wing, and get fucked up with three ACoC hits beforehand.
He would still lose obviously, but he'd do better than getting slammed in the first few seconds.
And if you want to play that game, then Kidd > Aramaki because he didn't faint/submit to Shanks' Conq Haki immediately while Aramaki did.

There's no need, Lee was always a Katakuri fan, as well as a Doflamingo fan. He'd acknowledge that Zoro is stronger, he's also just mostly trolling, but I doubt he'd suddenly start hating Kuri.
