language used was vague. He was most likely talking about his patience being at his limit. It wasn’t phrased in a way which was clearly indicating it was about his strength level.
Kaido wasn't Yonko tier, at best he was commander tier at that time

Yeah there also a lot who not use sword. Wb, kaido, katakuri, Bb, Garp... etc. It not about sword, so far it about how you utilize your haki with how you fight.
