Sanji, in the manga, didn't defeat Page1: Oda has stopped fighting.
It is normal, Oda stopped 90% of the important clashes in Wa (Luffy-Zoro vs Basil, Law Vs Basil, Ashura Vs Jack, Zoro Vs Kyoshiro, Sanji vs Drake, etc.).
This is because, for Oda, the real clashes will have to come to Onigashima.
So there is also stopping Sanji vs Page1.
It is normal, Oda stopped 90% of the important clashes in Wa (Luffy-Zoro vs Basil, Law Vs Basil, Ashura Vs Jack, Zoro Vs Kyoshiro, Sanji vs Drake, etc.).

The anime is not canon to the manga. Therefore, this is not hard confirmation for what happened in the manga.
However, the outcome in the manga has not been confirmed, so the anime's not contradicting anything. It's simply providing an interpretation of the events we didn't witness in the manga. So until further notice, Sanji failing to beat P1 is as valid an assumption as saying he did.
Though I'm not a fan of the idea he didn't beat P1. It means Sanji accomplished virtually nothing during his time in the capital.

You tell me. Why did they bring Raisin back, while he was one shoted by Sanji in the manga? So yeah, they changed the Outcome and they made Sanji look weaker. Don't think Fans enjoyed that decision.
Why could Pekoms controll his Sulong form and 1 HIT Sanji in the Anime? You think they won ''trust'' by their fans from that? This damaged their Reputation and already low Quality massively.

So I have no issue with them showing what they showed. If in the manga the gifters were defeated but they escaped in anime that would be a problem.

Knowing this information, how can you then say with confidence thatt Sanji beat him?

Page one was not with Drake or Hawkins. They separated after their initial appearance which is how Sanji was able to fight him to begin with.
If page one was defeated, why has not a single character mentioned it including Sanji? The defeat of a flying six would be huge news, no? If he was defeated, surely his body would be found in the captial, yet it wasn't, unless you think Sanji killed him and disposed of his body lol.
Who cares what Sanji's original intent was? He also intended for BM to be knocked out by his cake in WCI, but that didn't happen. Do you really think Sanji can take page one out of the battle for 2 weeks?
