The amount of idiotic comments on this thread.... There was no freaking Page One shown anymore. It was 6 unknown people's feet.

If Page One is out of commission, don't you think Kaido will replace him? Do you think he'll leave the Tobbi Ro(6)ppo with 5 people? It's like leaving the Yo(4)nko with 2-3 people.

Seriously, what did people expect, he was going to leave a group named after "6" with 5 people?

Why would P1 be out of commission? Because Sanji is famous for wrecking people so badly that they cant walk the same day?
Literally half of his opponents have walked away from the fight on their own and they werent ancient Zoans with superb recovery.
Plus there is Toei's spoiler that he never defeated him. However you take it, it's not looking good.

Sanji's opponents walk away from their fights. You realize that while claiming that P1 is out after 2 weeks?
If he really is missing, it's definitely not because of Sanji's "terrifying" kicks that P1 was laughing off.

They were increasing their own numbers for the decisive war, everything was in preparation for that, and Sanji said decreasing their numbers is as good as increasing your own.
Yep pretty sure he means the war, since otherwise there was not supposed to be a confrontation, what happened in the town was not intended in the first place.
Plan was to lay low until the fire festival.

You are ignoring the guy who is behind X drake that has a black cape. The one besides drake has the white one.

Anyway am not one to use legs to determine who is who. I will just wait for the f6 to be shown. P1 might have been replaced who knows. However if I had to bet, my money is on P1 still being part of f6 and in the banquet.

I don't think you had any to begin with. X-Drake has the exact same attire he's always wearing. The Vinsmokes ALL changed their attire.

What does what x drake wear have to do with page one? How can you seriously try to compare heights when Page One was never seen in human form? Don't reply to me any more. I'm not about to keep entertaining nonsense.

I think it's because :

1)How Toei can censor fights
Look how much blood is in One Piece and look how much Toei censors it.
Maybe the outcome of the fight was Page One surviving but all bloody.

2)Filler
They had to add a lot of filler to extend Page One vs Sanji
in manga Sanji does- 3 regular kicks
in anime Sanji does- probably over a 100 kicks

That+ censoring= Sanji looking weak

3)Removing canon material
We have seen Toei changing canon material and completely changing the whole meaning

For example:
Sanji vs Page One episode
In the manga Sanji transforms right in front of Page One on the ground
the next moment Sanji blitzes Page One right in front of his eyes to get on the roof and Page One couldn't tell how he did it.

In the anime he transforms mid air and just landing on the roof. Page One doesn't question how he did it.

This stuff alone proves that Toei can do whatever they want with the manga and doesn't adapt it 1:1

4)Oda telling stuff to anime staff
We have no idea what he told the anime staff

what if he said Page one will show up later in the manga and anime took it as Sanji didn't beat him?
maybe Oda said that page one survived the fight but didn't tell them his injuries.

I'll go through these.

1. Censorship
Its entirely down to the episode director and isn't really particularly the case in terms of just raw blood. The anime can get more bloody than the manga(quite easily), however, they tend to stick away from gore.

2. Filler
The fight in the manga was bad. The filler, while a bit repetitive, certainly improved the action considerably. Also worth noting, they actually bothered to make Sanji stronger by having him physically match up against Page One, as opposed to being sent flying like a rag doll.

3. This has always been the case. Like, literally always. Do people seriously not remember the first episode of the show? The first episode of One Piece was vastly different from the source material. This is not new information.

4. Yeah. Considering Page One is appearing again in the story, I don't think its unfair to say that the outcome in the anime didn't particularly contradict anything.

Guess Zoro is now out of M3 and Brook or Franky is in. He is not or never been VC too. Also can't handle beating fodder without unleashing Emna as well. Anime is canon looking at your signature, so let us hype ourselves for the future Zoro vs Batman as I know that be more worthy of Mid Tier Zoro's time for not beating him nor nerf pleasure with his 'lethal cuts' ;).
