Nah scabbards were landing attacks on kaido easily. Kaido's offence is seriouly lacking in dragon form compare to his base from.

Not talking about defense.
About offense again- oden tanked boro breath but was one-shotted by wounded kaido's normal club attack. Hence wounded kaido club attack> boro breath. Healthy kaido divine thunder>>boro breath

Kaido only used boro breath when he could of used lighting roar, wind slices also his human form is just more versatility

the guy from drum island already confirmed regular zoans can do it
regular zoans are upgraded to anicent zoans, but mythical is different something rarer than a logia

in some cases dragon is better, kaido only thing in human form is weaker defense and just thunder baugas its gonna get predictable espically if oden has CoO, that why they're equal

Kaido's offense in much better in base form comapred to dragon form imo. The wind attack either is easy to dodge or kaido has very poor aim with it as only kiku got hurt

But you can say the same with jack situation or queen vs big mom situation. They never used hybrid despite being in bad situation.

Kaido had every chance to use it against Oden, the man who gave him PTSD and made him pull the hostage card
Jack didn't use it when he was fucking losing
Queen didn't use it against a damn Yonko

Only scenario I would accept is : Kaido didn't have it back then and mastered it not long ago

If you observe even whos who and sasaki started fighting in their animal form. Its oda's writing style I guess.

The point is even though jack/queen have hybrids they don't use it(despite being in a bad situation). Same can be said for kaido
