There is a good possibility that Marco has CoC as well.

Unless Oda retcons it he doesn't have it, WBP mentioned only Whitebeard/Shanks when Luffy has shown using CoC for the first time and there is no mention of Marco...

Nobody used CoC here. Doffy is a CoC user and he didn't use it either.

I'm sure Marco is going to show his CoC very random in Wano.

He doesn't have it . Unless you think his fellow wbP , he himself and Oda were lying when they only mentioned Ace and WB as CoC users when luffy used CoC.

Marco doesn't have CoC. Nobody including himself state he has it.

Katakuri hides his face for the sake of his siblings, he literally said in the flashbacks he doesn't care, he will just beat anyone if they laugh about it. Then they took avenge from his siblings, after that he decides to hide his face.

Kid also kills people when they laugh to his dreams, so that's basically the same thing. As well as Ace does the same when they talk bad about Whitebeard, or when they insulted him due to being Roger's son. They all have CoC Haki.

CoC is no joke, that is why only one individual out of a million unlocks it. Also Katakuri is 48 years old, so if he had CoC, he should have unlocked it earlier but this never occurred.

Now I don't know how many chances there are Oda would only trigger it so late in him. I see them effimeral for now.

To put it simply, because he was Luffy's main arc fight... After Doflamingo, Oda will not give main arc fight for Luffy without that character having all 3 haki types, regardless of their character

It looks like every strongest crew mate or second in command after top pirate captain has CoC:
Roger-Ray
WB-Oden-Ace(would end up the strongest later on if he survived)
BM-Kata

I wouldn't be suprised if Benn,King and Shiryuu(if he is the strongest after BB) also have CoC.

Ambition and high self confidence are not musts for awakening CoC. Katakuri has the qualities of a leader, people respect him a lot, hence, he has it. You do not have to meet all of the requirements to unlock CoC, some people can unlock by having just a few of the requirements.
Look at Rayleigh, he was a ship stealing hoodlum at the beginning. Doesn’t seem like someone who want to be WSS and stuff.

Because he's the anti-Luffy, and if Oda was going to "mirror" Luffy he needed to give him CoC.

But it's been hinted he will succeed BM after her death.

Oda wanted to create tension so he gave the villain all the powers of the previous villain (Doffy)and more.
It’s kinda of like how Toriyama gave Buu all of Cell’s powers for no reason in Dragon Ball.
