Why does they same guy who’s so afraid of showing his ugly face that he kills his fellow crewmates have Kings Haki? Katakuri just doesn’t seem like he should have it. What do you guys think?

I think his status as a Sweet Commander and showing superiority over his siblings are qualities that make him a Conquerer.

This does make me wonder if Cracker or even Smoothie even have CoC at all compared to him.

CoC seems to be somewhat hereditary (it makes sense given the nature of a monarchy). Linlin have 85 children, at least one of them should have CoC. Oda chose the strongest one.

Katakuri's wish is to be normal. He was foisted into a role of "invincibility" by his iugly looking freakshow of siblings that needed someone to take care of them. Even if he is so courageous and noble by taking on this bullshit role, the hihglight of the arc was how he jsut wanted to be normal, not exceptional, not a perfect whatever. He desperately wishes to be a regular bloke that can eat donuts and live without being held to some standard of perfection (which is according to what inbres family members think counts as perfection)

NO one that just wants to be normal deep inside should have CoC

Nobody used CoC here. Doffy is a CoC user and he didn't use it either.
