General & Others Why have we not seen a single character who aspires to be WSS?

Mihawk Reigns Supreme
lol I dont even care about hyping up either zoro or mihawk
I just need people to be intellectually honest
the kanji for mihawk's title
is same with wb
same with kaido's
yet the other two are accepted as strongest titles
but his has to have a question mark(skill, greatest?) etc. as long as facts are provided, folks should accept when they are wrong. will act like they dont see it as per usual.
I know you’re indifferent to Zoro and Mihawk, but I guarantee that the scrutiny Mihawk and Zoro get is because certain groups don’t want them to be strong for the sake of their headcanons.

Its pretty obvious that everyone who joins the marines....aspires to be an admiral and after that Fleet Admiral.

Being WSS is something only Zoro is interested in.
its pretty obvious that everyone who picks up a sword and uses it a single time... aspires to be WSS and after that Sword God.

Being WSS is something only Zoro is interested in.
being Admiral is something only Coby is interested in.

...do not be an idiot.

its also irrelevant. as stated before, other rivals are not necessary when the one true rival is the strongest of them all anyways.
you want inferior foes to enter the contest? lol why?

And no sword in real life looks like Mihawks sword. WB weapon is a meitou. Literally meaning famous sword. Your feelings here are irrelevant when the weapon is classified as sword and made by a sword smith. Not just a smith
How does this change that fact that Mihawk's weapon is a sword and WB's is a polearm? WB's weapon is called a blade unless spears are swords now?

You're still making things up for the sake of your argument. Good to know you think facts and evidence are irrelevant.

Mihawk weapon is a machete made a sword in the context of one piece. WB's weapon is a long sword classified as a sword in the context of one piece :kayneshrug:

I don't recall Bisento to have ever been classified at all

Unless I'm missing such notion

Let alone Supreme Grade
That's the issue with reading the manga and SBS selectively. WB weapon is called "Cloud Splitter/Cutter" and yes it's among the 12 first class swords.

Headcanons don't help here sanji fan it's called 12 supreme grade weapons ; swords and spears are included but your headcanon isn't ( Viz translation ):denzimote:

You really need to work on your intellectual honestly Metallica. Raws and official translation calls them the grade weapons yet you:
-ignore that and use an unofficial translation
-ignore the spears and lances
-focus on WB's weapon only and uses one of its descriptions
-Ignore that WB's weapon is a polearm like the spear and lance
-Claim Mihawk's sword is a machete, ignoring its real life inspiration

You really go through all these lengths to downplay Mihawk....

They have never stated they want to be WSS, thats the problem i have, i got your point already. Im saying that the telling part is not there, is all. Its very underwhelming and i dislike how Oda did it. You're entitled to your opinion honestly.
I just feel this way.
But you don't need to state it lol when something is so obvious

@Desolate Smaug is Metalicca..That explains hell of a lot lmao

Its weird how every misfit or Oro Jackson has some how become worse on this forum

Oda's Sbs : WB weapon is a naginata, literally meaning long sword.
Some mode with a sword agenda: no it's not a sword.
And it's not a downplay. It's just one of the many contradictions of the WSS title. Like Mihawk being WSS when Dark king is in his prime when it's clear to readers prime ray shits on Mihawk

No its more obvious than anyone who practices swordsmanship aspires to be best.
When you are training and training rigorously, your ultimate goal should be to be greatest.

What part of "WSS is not a gold medal, its a reality" do you not understand. Title doesn't make Mihawk WSS, Mihawks strength does, thats a reality of One Piece.

So unless you live in a fantasy world where every single swordsman in One Piece is lazy as fuck, its blatantly obvious more people want to become WSS than they want to become Admirals

Hell far more people want to become WSS then they want to become Pirate King. There are swordsmen, who train to get stronger, as strong as they can in Dojos, in Marines, in Pirates in Grand Line, in New World.

And by training and wanting to become as strong as you could, you are already competing.

The naginata (なぎなた, 薙刀) is a pole weapon and one of several varieties of traditionally made Japanese blades (nihonto).[1][2] Naginata were originally used by the samurai class of feudal Japan, as well as by ashigaru (foot soldiers) and sōhei (warrior monks).[3] The naginata is the iconic weapon of the onna-bugeisha, a type of female warrior belonging to the Japanese nobility.

You seriously don't even know what a naginata is. What swordsman uses pole weapons? The entire style of Naginata is different than traditional swordsmanship.
Not to mention Whitebeard literally has no swordsmanship feats or portrayal like Shanks and Roger have.

Dark King in his prime was stronger than Mihawk? Get off the drugs lmao, Mihawk is as strong as Roger, Rayleigh was slightly weaker than that.

Who is Metallica :choppawhat: sounds like he gave you hell :suresure:

A naginata is classified as a polearm just like the spear, lance, glaive, bisento etc. Bring the evidence that it's not instead of claiming it's a sword for the sale of your argument.

There are no contradictions with Mihawk's title.....its nothing but made up nonsense like you assuming Prime Ray was stronger than Mihawk AND assuming Mihawk was WSS when Ray was in his prime(Mihawk was 19 when Rogee died).

Toss in people claiming Mihawk can be stronger than swordsman Shanks just because and using high tier Vista(while ignoring the Emperors getting run down by mid and low tiers), you get most of the low quality and extremely dishonest arguments.

literally meaning long sword.
Another bullshit you made up
This is a traditional long sword

And this is a Japanese long sword

You need to seriously re think your approach when you have to embarrass yourself this bad to try to downplay Mihawk, Metallica.
Your "arguments" were shit tier in Oro Jackson and they are shit tier now.

So samurais use spear too, what kinda bullshit is that?
Samurai Archery
Kyūdō (弓道) is the Japanese martial art of archery.

There was also Samurai Archery so a Samurai Archer is also a swordsman to you lmao?:gokulaugh:

Boy get a grip and tone down this shitty ass arguments

you sure?

It's a Knecht Kriegsmesser, Mihawk's Yoru is based on this type of german sword
Lmaoooo homie @Desolate Smaug really said no sword is real life looks like Mihawk's yoru :milaugh::milaugh::milaugh:

Next you gonna say no sword in real life is black like Shushui.

Oh wait
