General & Others Why I’m a Zoro fan now

The thing is, is Kid and Law don't have to come back and beat Shanks and Blackbeard, precisely because they aren't the MC. Luffy HAS to come back and avenge his losses because this is his story.
Both Kid and Law just need to come back more impressive the next time we see them. They will eventually get to the stage Luffy is on, even if they will never be the star of the show. No different than everyone else who stood on Roger's stage, but never was the main attraction.
Hell Law and Kid don't even have to get there before the current timeline concludes. It can be years later, but they will get there. All Oda has to do is make it so we understand that one day, these guys will be there. The Straw Hats will not reign supreme over an Ocean of weaklings, especially since this is meant to be the Great Pirate era.

Safest choice is Luffy ofc but wanking the MC like some extremists here is the most pathetic thing ever.

It’s not about “Ws”, it’s the fact that I know without a doubt Zoro will get meaningful development and attention from Oda.

Even then, Zoro has been ignored by oda in terms of attention since the timeskip started. Yeah he will get a few cool moments and a fight an arc, but oda ignores his actual character too much which pissed me off the most about wano.
Especially seeing Ryumas grave not happening, Luffy being given the Ryuma parallel that should’ve been Zoros, Luffy even getting the Yasuie flashback. Oda ignores all his characters except luffy

Oda did Kid wrong just to see who will stick to him even after that....now he will get good feats., next time he comes....

You can view it like this:
Luffy always deliver because he is the protagonist, which means the story requires him to be like that.
Meanwhile Zoro isn't #1, but Oda treats him like he is. It means him favoring Zoro is real, not obligated by narrative.
It feels different liking a character who gets special treatment from the author when they aren't the protagonist.
This also happened in naruto fandom. A lot of people are Itachi fans not because he is virtually perfect & invincible, but because Kishimoto wanks him a lot despite him just being a side character.

Zoro is a better character and infinitely stronger. That's all you needed to say.
And you can stay a Kidd fan, just a realistic one, which means understanding he is not a top tier at all and was never supposed to play any big role (that's the essence of his character but there is of course more to it).
