the cocked back arm was the one that threw the punch.
Luffy is drawn after it snapped back again. you see the blur lines of the motion.

his left arm punched.
it was not an open palm punch.

He used it on Yamato in chapter 984 page 6, which means he is not taking the number's seriously. He used Advanced Armamanet Haki level 1- Barrier/Emmission haki which caused damage similar to a Gear 3 punch while he was in base mode.

he did not. it was also a closed palm punch. the aura arround is regular ryou. its impossible to distinguish from gk ryou, but we only saw it with open palms afair.

the topic should get closed as it was made under a false premise.
Luffy used a closed fist G4 punch vs that block. there is no indication there that he is withholding something.

Chapter 955 shows him using ryou with a closed punch, so what you say is wrong.

okay you are correct. it gets introduced with a closed palm fist too. the explanation of it shows 2 similar punches.

anyways. the topic is still made under a false premise. nothing in the panel indicates that Luffy is hiding a power or that hes not using ryou fully. its indistinguishable either way.

Same as when he introduced gears: Oda gives the reader an appetizer, back then it was G2 vs Blueno and an hint he had something else as well now we have soke glimpse of his training in ryu, then he uses it only at the climax of the arc as his initial ace to beat the villain who defeated him before, that is not enough but he develops or reveal something more and beats the villain.

Also of course he will not reveal his ace vs fodder, probably not even if he has to go through a calamity or maybe just a small appetizer to also say that he somewhat has what he needs to go vs Kaido.

He's not, he used it on number last chapter

Yeah Shi Shishi sonson is an attack more lethal than any other attack and u talk about zoro using a technique of prets to finish pica like i bring a technique of postts :suresure: it's like saying Zoro used shishi sonson against Pica instead of Shi shishi sonson each time u bring a headcanon far worse than the last one in out debat i hope for doffy and Pica to be more durable than the Dragon that tanked Luffy's hardened punches without any visible damage while thses punches fucked Doffy's face while using hardening and he even bled :suresure:
