Just an average commander just like all others who arent Katakuri, King, Beckman, Shiryu... Marco, Jozu and Vista are exceptions.
All good and nice but how is the whole town sinking into it helping Blackbeard to pull King's sword?
Yes weaker than Blackbeard but Quakes arent detonated inside his head and he isnt amplifying the pain two times.
King didnt use his sword because the plot benefits from him not using it in those situations or you want it that badly to see the son of Judge dead and all the fruit users on Mama chanter drown?


Not hard to outclass an overgrown child which wants to eat the cake. The bar for Katakuri was set very low. His own brother performed much better against Luffy, Nami and Seducing Woods. Any relevance that Katakuri had was to train the MC and be forgotten.
Well, I guess I have to be what you call a candyboi until Katakuri "reaches the roof" like Zoro did.
He isnt fighting Marco, he is trying to block the passage to the dome, he has yet to touch his sword and get paired with anyone who will be his fight... You will have to wait, you arent judging Katakuri either after throwing his bean but after the entire fight. That's how proper powerscalers judge things.

I do wank all swordsmen because that's what's called consistency instead of selective wanking of characters I like...

Well for sure Blackbeard could force Kaido to rely on Base only thanks to the Yami, and if Current Luffy is capable to overpower Base Kaido, Teach should achieve the same with his Gura Power eventually.

Plus Teach is so enduring he could probably take a few Thunder Bagua before falling down.

You guys are underestimating Big Man Queen and Big Bird King.

Once they go Hybrid they will pull off crazy feats, and a bunch of you will want your favorite character to get a chance to defeat such monsters in 1 vs 1 combat :queenhear:

That's merely in that Katakuri is capable to dodge way more difficult attacks and his devil fruit grants him the ability to give birth to very powerful strikes either. Let's see what King will show AP wise though.

King is a swordsman who has not used his sword.

He is called Wildfire and has not used his fire.

He is a Zoan and has not used his Hybrid form. Think of how shitty Lucci would be running around like a big cat compared to his Hybrid.

Hybrid King and Queen will be absolute monsters

Lovely thread it was much needed it's going to age beautifully even despite what happened in the latest chapter.
Marco first of all is WB right handman who was equal the the PK, apart from perhaps Benn Beckman he easily stands above all other yonko commanders so credits should be given to him instead of ridiculing King and Queen.

Secondly Marco only stopped both King and Queen temporarily it's not like he has been fighting them for weeks as equals. People are overreacting, same way Apoo was overhyped for blocking Zoro and Drake for few seconds before he got overwhelmed and defeated in the very next chapter.
Kata was also the antagonist of that WCI arc which had much smaller cast of characters, big mom was having hunger pangs the whole time so he was getting majority of the focus. I believe King and Queen are going to be far more impressive once things settle down a bit and oda gives them some more focus. we have two damn yonkos supernova samurai and minks in Wano

Katakuri was retconned entirely to make an opponent for Luffy. Comparing the new Katakuri to King is stupid. He is noticeably stronger. Luffy wouldn't need a powerup to surpass King. He'd body the shit out of him.

People still ignore the fact that Ashura Doji said no Calamity can take him down, or Kinemon was about to whoop Jack's ass.
