WB said Kaidou and Oden both have captain quality yet they were a part of a crew. why does it make no sense? does being led by someone else make no sense for someone who is previously a leader?
Oda's basket of Luffy's allies is rich enough to believe that Law should prove no difference and so that he will tag along the SHs in such "format" instead of joining the crew. This should be by far the most plausible case.
Honestly I still have faith the other crew members such as Heat, Wire, Bepo, Shachi and Penguin will help the SH crew. Otherwise what was the point in this alliance?
Also there’s no way in hell that the SH are beating flying 6 alone. If it does happen then it’ll have to be the biggest asspulls ever.
First, we establish that Luffy is stronger than Law. This is done through Luffy defeating Doffy and further on fighting stronger and stronger opponents through Cracker, Katakuri, and now Kaido & Big Mom. Also, most people already accepted Zoro is stronger than Law so there is no conflict of interest there. WSS will always be one of the strongest in the Verse especially given that Zoro surpasses Mihawk.
Luffy already thinks of Law as a crewmember. And Law is one of the major driving forces of the plot. His infatuation with the Will of D is such a big deal.
ROLE:Heart Seat or Surgeon. In my opinion its the Heart Seat that Doffy wanted Law to be. Like a sacrifice. Remember Vergo and Corazon were Doffys past heart seats and they both perished. Law was given an overpowered Devil Fruit with the Ability to Rule the world coupled with something else according to Doflamingo. I believe it is some sort of Heart Seat where law uses the Perpetual Youth Operation some point in either Raftel post-battle with Blackbeard or in Marygeoise against Imu, or Gorosei?
DREAM: To find the meaning of the Will of D SAD BACKSTORY: Flevance BENEFACTOR: Donquixote Rosinante (Corazon/Cora-san) BOUNTY: 500,000,000 LUFFY BOUNTY: 1,500,000,000
Supporting Reasons (w/ Canon showing)
Law was willing to die to Fuji and Doffy rather than call Luffy his subordinate in Greenbit.
Luffy explicitly said Law is on my crew. Law denied.
This is the same case with strawhat like Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Jinbei, Franky, Brook, Chopper who deny at first and later accept because they see Luffy for who he is.
Will of D Bond
Monkey D. Luffy & Trafalgar D. Water Law
Post Marine ford Law saved Luffy along with Jinbei, Ivankov (Serving in for Dragon), Buggy, and Shanks who are all tied very closely with Luffy
Law held Luffy's Strawhat for a significant Period during a Tumultuous time
Other People who've held the hat have been Ace, Zoro, Nami, Robin, Margaret, Buggy, Shanks, and Tama [with the exception of Margaret, everyone has a very close tie with Luffy]
Law Saves Bellamy parallel to Zoro saving Smoker
Law was swilling to die alongside Luffy if Doffy lost.
Luffy saves the strawhats from their shambles and Luffy saves Law from Doffy
Luffy finishes Laws fight for him like he does for the rest of the strawhats
He defeats Doflamingo.
Destroys Dressrosa.
And has Fujitora on his side the whole time.
Doflamingo is locked up in Level 6 Impel Down.
As of 996, the story now requires Law to travel with Luffy. Law will not become an Enemy after all their interactions/moments. He knows the ties the strawhats have with Luffy. He knows Luffy character and Ambitions. To know the meaning of the Will of D, Law has to travel with Pirate Kings crew. Law by himself realistically will not get there.
Law is a Captain of his own crew?
Jinbei was Captain of Sun Pirates.
Franky was the Boss of the Franky Family.
Usopp was Captain of the Usopp Pirates.
Zoro asked to be Captain of Baroque Works before killing Mr. 7.
Brook was a temporary Captain for the Rumbar Pirates.
I did read and I don't see Law join any crew other than his.
Law isn't like Jinbei whose joining of the Straw Hats had already been announced for quite a while before WCI arc, and unlike Jinbei he has no big dream or goal setting him that could be accomplished by joining Luffy as his crewmate.

To be fair Laws dream is to discover the truth of the D and that can be accomplished by sailing alongside Luffy and CO. Not saying he should join but he does have a dream that can be accomplished by accompanying the SH crew.
