- defeated Killer

- tanked Hakai

Yet...
- Kid and Law end up fighting Yonko
- Zoro gave up on fighting Kaido
- Luffy vs Kaido and be the one who influence samurais
- And... Zoro ends up fighting King (with some struggling) and his body has time-bomb.

Why Oda did this???

Because he is afraid of the fandoms he created and he don't want to piss off too much any of them, so he tries to give something to eat to both zoro fans and his haters. Zoro vs King had 0 set up and doesn't match at all with what Zoro declared and his goal during this arc.

Also Sanji is not slightly weaker than Zoro, there is an actual gap between them, and this gap will keep getting bigger unless Sanji also gets COC

Nop, Kidd couldnt even stop Kaido´s regular air slashes, Law is too phisicaly weak, Killers phisical strenght and endurance is much inferior to Zoro too as proven by how easily Zoro overpowered him as kamazou, Luffy would never be able to stop that withoud fainting instantly.
