Current Events Why such a dramatic difference in the way Anime Team Treats Zoro and Sanji

I guess Mods can move this to anime discussion section if they want, I mean this is more of a question about One Piece as a whole not necessarily anime only as this sorta kinda applied to Manga as well if you look at Art Around Zoro vs King and Sanji vs Queen but in anime its just day and night difference

Just look at these two clips

Its not just the fact that Art in Zoro's episode is like massively superior, the transitions, the number of stills in that one minute clip alone, the movie quality animation given to Zoro, hell they even boosted King's Animation and made his final attack look like its an attack from an actual God himself, they even went out of their way to work on Zoro's music.

They gave a whole new Background music and gave the flute version of Zoro's theme to finish the fight.

And that's just not it, if you look at the entire episode, animation was movie quality for literally the 12 or so minutes of the episde.

Where as for Sanji majority of the episode was that usual mid quality animation and in the end that stepped it up but still with usual Sanji music and Queen just went down.

For Zoro they then put in extra work for King of Hell stuff and even finished the episode with Z

Why did they treat the two fights so differently?

Because they stan Zoro more ? No idea really.

They made Sanji's last hit seem weaker in the anime for whatever reason

They def saved everything up for the final chapter, they botched rest of the fight. Sanji's scenes on Onigashima had been far more consistent throughout, it's like they were in love with Queen for some reason, maybe easier to animate idk, King got no love until the masterclass at the end. I knew they were cooking something though, never in doubt.

It is not obvious? Zoro is more popular, it makes sense to spend more resources on him. Luffy is even more popular than those two and will be getting even more resources for g5.

Well on the other hand they treated these two fights in the previous episodes as unimportant episodes

I think apart from the part where there was a gap between beef burst and the rest of IJ attacks. The rest were fine right?

The "filler" scenes in the 1061 with Germa was also pretty neat.

G5 episode will probably break the internet as well. Judging by the scale of King's attack in the manga and what they did to it, Kaidou's blazing bagua and Luffy's Bajrang Gun will look planetary level lmao.

Idk if it will top how great King's spam was. They created a new move for him lol.

Overall I wouldn't go that far. Saitama vs Boros' art was a notch higher than this, a lot cleaner without all the extra distractions muddying up the scene.

I wasn't talking about the scale of the attack..more like crispness and vibrance of animation..can they make Luffy vs Kaido look better than this..there is also the idea of "doing too much" and turning the whole episode into mumbo jumbo spam of visuals

I think the budget of 1062 is at least 10 times the budget of 1060

It is that "gap" that made it seem like Queen just ate the attacks straight up.

Sanji went "invisible" in anime as well, Queen said it so himself. We also see in the manga Sanji circling around in high speed up in the air, which was basically what was shown in anime too.
