"I have to be stronger than anybody else" there's no way to twist those words.
I was merely referring to him considering the nakama as weak, cause when he claims I have to be stronger than everybody he is probably referring to his opponents, at least mostly, cause he came up with these words once he noticed how potent the CP9 proved and he wanted to badly surpass it IIRC.

But that's mostly for his opponents not necessarily his nakama included into the equation, moreover I bet that if he noticed that his nakama were stronger than him he would not necessarily be jealous of such potency or concerned.

So it's undeniable he trained hard.

Then again EoS Luffy > EoS Zoro will be very possibly I didn't reject that argument, but the chance it won't be like this isn't exactly 0% either.

I'll just put my 2 cents in :

The Wings statement doesn't mean Zoro=Sanji in strength/power.

Why? I'll make this super short:

1. Wings are the most helpful/contributed the most to Luffy becoming PK (hence why the full title is Wings of PK).

2. Zoro's entire contributions (what he did for the whole series) is 99% combat & 1% advisor/vice captain thing.

3. Sanji's entire contributions are very wide:
- During action, he does combat
- During action when he doesn't do combat, he does spy/tactical thing (eg Gate of Justice, Arc Maxim) or hero thing (saving nakama/people)
- During non action, he does his main job cooking, daily
- During non action, he does other things too beside his main job like advising Luffy (eg Usopp scene) or babysitting (eg Brooke's recruitment scene)

Since Wings are equal, which means both are scored 100, and due to the points above:
- Zoro's score= combat is 99, other thing 1
- Sanji's score= other thing is definitely more than 1 (because he does many things much more than Zoro), and his combat is definitely below 99

So, in/for combat, Zoro>Sanji, even if it's 99>98, and definitely isn't 100=100.

I like this take.

100% correct (just logic, in fact)

Also
Since Rayleigh is the confirmed N2 πŸ₯ˆ (has always been) and Gaban is the confirmed N3 πŸ₯‰ yet they are "Wings" nevertheless

This confirms that THE WINGS AREN'T MEANT TO BE EQUAL, just a metaphor like "arms" to indicate the most trusted crewmembers, rhm and lhm
Still, the Right-hand man > the Left-hand man
And we all know who the rhm is and who the lhm is
