You know what the craziest part of this is? If Enel interacts with the SH, I think this will confirm a moon arc. No way Luffy hears about Enel visiting the moon and doesn´t want to go.

I think he will return, but not necessarily in Elbaf, but most likely in a Moon or Space Arc at the very end.
