Tbf big mom returning doesn’t mean she’s necessarily going to be handled well even tho I would hope so lol
Even ignoring luffy and the giants I think she needs to learn what really happened they day mother Carmel “disappeared” along with who she really was
Plus her returning could lead to an awesome Usopp moment. Something where he has to stand up for the giants against big mom and be able to survive soul pocus
Also not as important but seeing her crew originally looked like before all the kids would be cool
Also x2 big mom lowkey might end up getting redeemed. As fucked up as she is she definitely has lots of redeeming qualities and “good dreams”. She just 100% goes at them in the worst ways
You had to exclude Fuji and GB from your list even though he made that statement to Fuji because it doesnt make sense for Luffy to be fed all these top tiers.
The way I see it, he'll fight both Admirals and Emperors, the question is of who ? He's already defeated Kaido, he's fighting Kizaru right now in Egghead, only Akainu and BB are ones he'll have to fight in the future and they will be stronger than the previous admiral/emperor.
Maybe Shanks too, but thats just a maybe.

I think the og 3 admirals are more important and relevant to luffy’s journey. Plus not to power scale too much they’re the 3 strongest too

Luffy beat Kaido who is stronger than Big Meme, fighting her again would be redundant when she already got beat by Law & Kid (one of whom got one shot by Shanks, making this fight even more irrelevant).
Thats actually the best word to describe this idea, redundant. It would just be stretching the story to beat characters whenever Luffy goes up against them until we end the manga. That does not fit the "battle royale" Oda wants the final saga to be.

Thats still going to require an unnecessary amount of panel time just so Luffy can defeat a Yonko already defeated lol.
I would have agreed here if she never showed up to Wano, but look how much Wano itself spent on Big Mom, it would have been easily 20-30 chapters shorter without her, and I argue it was worth the length just to remove her from the plot at that point.
Kuzan on the other hand has the benefit of still being relevant and not dealt with.

Honestly I personally would've rather had her never gone to wano either especially seeing how oda did her. At the same time I think there’s too much loose ends for her not to return for better or worse

While like most I agree that oda’s handling of Linlin has honestly been pretty unfortunate to say the least I don’t think she’s done. Whether he handles her return well or not idk but I really hope it’s better lol

Luffy lucky af that Kizaru is nerfed and emotionally restricted, no way you believe after this Arc that an all out Kizaru using his awakening and what not would not be at least an extreme diff fight for Luffy... At least, cause most likely Kizaru would destroy him.

Nope, if you think about it he already failed, technically. Luffy beat Kaido but he didn't beat BM, Law and Kidd did that for him and so now we will never have a Luffy vs BM fight where he wins because he already surpassed BM by beating Kaido. For the same reason almost for sure he will not beat every admiral, Kizaru, maybe Akainu and that is it. I don't see Luffy taking down neither Fuji or Aokiji (if he still counts as an admiral).
