I think the main thing is that Devon can copy him. I think that could lead to his status being unconfirmed at the least, so the Blackbeard’s can take advantage of it.

Definitely done for the arc, that was some definitive final punch stuff.
They all have telepathy they would know about an imposter immediately

You have Oda finally making Bonney overcome her fears and she remembers the past for one last time
With Luffy encouraging her

They both finish off Saturn
People rejoice

You think Saturn is coming back to fight them again in this arc

They don't mean in this arc, but later on.

Arc wise his fate seems like Nasujuro's and Mars. These characters were all temporarily "defeated" by being blown away, blown up, or seemingly thrown in the water. Emeth probably will do the same to Jupiter and Warcury.

They need to be handled so that way the crew can get far enough to leave. My actual question is Kizaru because he can just fly over to them and is close. Will he help or still try and attack by the end of the arc?

@Pringles come take your :holdw:
Loda choose to waste Kizaru instead of matching him with Zoro but that’s on him

I'm not entirely convinced yet that Saturn is down so I'll be patient but the only way to counter regeneration is by destroying the body beyond repair and that's exactly what Luffy and Bonney seemed to have done

Doesn’t matter if he comes back later or not he is out of the arc for now so he has been dealt with :myman:

He fell into the sea and is a DF eater. His regen might save him but he'll be stuck under the sea unable to move (like Jack), but also unable to drown and die (due to his immortality).
That makes way for the BB Devon plotline ofc, its also possible his stuck in stasis, like, unable to regen, (so can't call out to other Gorosei because he got KO'ed from this damage and white eyed), but not fully dead (because of the immortality), so if he got taken out of the sea, he'd regen and be alive again, but right now a vegetable.

If his regen is a passive df ability it won’t go away. Luffy can still stretch under the sea, Kinemon’s DF clothing didn’t go away when he was under water, Big Mom’s homies remained after she almost drowned etc

I'll be taking a short break from this site soon until the week of 1122 spoilers, but before I do take a break, I have a few threads I want to create.:pepebusi:

For this one, the question is do you think Saturn is done? Or do you think he will come back in the next chapter?

I do want to point out that Saturn being torn apart doesn't mean he is dead.

When Kuma punched Saturn, he lost an arm and a horn and was able to easily regen.

However in this latest chapter we see that Saturn is falling into the ocean.

One big question has always remained and that is are the Gorosei even devil fruit users?

Remember that Oda never 100% confirmed they were devil fruit users, in this panel below, Oda only lists their mythical creature names but not the devil fruit.

And then we have this panel of Warcury jumping over the ocean to hit the Elbaf Ship, knowing full well that he could accidentally fall into the ocean and drown.

If Saturn and the other Gorosei are not devil fruit users and if the ocean is not the weakness to their immortality either, then I think there is a high chance for Saturn to return.

This will also be a great opportunity for Kizaru to finally show up and stall the Gorosei.:pepecroc:

So again do you think Saturn will come back?

Saturn was shown getting blown up by his own venom bombs and regenerated from it I doubt he's done for
