There is no way the fire festival is the endgame of this arc, especially now with the inclusion of the BMP.
The alliance will fail in one of the most epic and devastating moments of the whole manga, i can't wait *-*

Everything is setup for the Alliance to fail spectacularly. Oda is giving the heroes a false sense of security by making them think only Kaido is their enemy.

That said, it would be incredibly stupid of Chopper and co not to say a lick about Big Mom.

but but this time circumstances are different..? 20 years in the making, and Wano people are absolutely desperate to make it happen which is new compared to previous situation... :whistle: and Hawkins didn't predict a 0% winning odd!!

Lol I wouldn't be surprised if they fail terribly of course, that'd be the obvious answer from Oda :ROFLMAO: but given the above, i personally wouldn't mind if he surprises everyone by making the plan actually work at first try (with last minute reinforcement, etc.)
