Character Discussion Will this particular character ever be explored further in the story?

Xebec. Will his life or story be exposed? Will there be someone who is the spiritual successor of Xebec? What are his abilities? How was the story of his loss against Roger and Garp? What is the king of the world according to him? Will Luffy, Blackbeard, or anyone else be compared to him in the aspect of infamy, powerlevel, traits, or anything? What are your theories about him?

Because personally i wanna know everything about him. What kind of man led the natural freaks who were later became WSC and WSM? I even lowkey have a headcanon where Xebec acquired some kind of semi immortality, never died and never out of his prime, just so that he can clash against the Strawhats along with exploration of some heavy lore and secrets lol

Rocks' intended war with the world (government) will be explained when Luffy goes to war with them (and Imu).
Seems like Rocks wanted to overthrow one evil regime with his own evil regime.

In terms of evil, BB would be an inheritor of his will.
In terms of current resistance to the WG, Dragon would be another inheritor.
Shanks is probably his son so he would be an inheritor from that standpoint
Kaido wanted to take on the WG so he would be an inheritor in terms of Rocks pirates.
Luffy in a round about fashion would also be an inheritor, in that he will be the one to take down Imu ultimately.

We are for sure going to learn about him and I’m hoping we do through Kaido’s story. I think he’s Blackbeard’s Shanks, his role model but instead of wanting to be king of the world he wants to be pirate king. I don’t think it’s any coincidence Blackbeard’s ship is called “Saber of Xebec”, or that Blackbeard chose the island Fullalead to be his base, the yami might have even been Xebec’s since he’s being painted as the most evil pirate to exist in the past (mixed w swordplay like Roger if I was to guess). To him king of the world is probably crushing the govt or anyone that stands in his way and living freely. As far as how he was defeated it’s anyone’s guess, he could have been tag teamed by younger non-prime Roger and Garp and one of them landing the finishing blow, defeated by Roger or defeated by Garp. I’m kind of leaning towards Garp landing the final blow since this is the fight that made him the Hero.

When you introduce a character like that,of course later you have to show it,even if only in a flashback. But he could also be alive in the present,who knows! I see him as a figure similar to Madara Uchiha,and like him,he could come back alive?? By the way,i imagine him as a very charismatic figure. Like you wrote too,to govern a crew of people like Kaido,Linlin and Newgate,you must have great charisma and great physical power.

Wait BB Ship is named Saber of Xebec? For real?

Then...will Xebec's story actually unfold on Luffy vs BB arc? To be explored at such a decisive arc, such a heavy lore then.

- It won't surprise me if Xebec originally had the yami yami no mi and that's why BB was obsessed with it.
- He is probably the father of Shanks.

He was called Roger's greatest rival, so we are definitely getting more info about this man.

If 25+ years have passed and we still don't know anything about the OP, Ancient Weapons, Void Century then we won't find out anything about Rocks, who was introduced later as just a strong pirate. He's amongst the many filler characters of One Piece.

Yeah basically it has been 25 years and we still haven't even gotten all Ancient Weapons properly pictured

I think that Oda will probably never introduce Shiki and Xebec alive, and maybe they will be mentioned in one of the best case scenarios.

Yes, because Rocks will return and be part of the current plot, he can't be a flashback only character because his story is too big for him to just exist to flesh out existing characters like any other flashback character

He will be defeated by Shanks and Smoker , both resemble Roger and Garp of the mid generation

Kaido FB will show him. All this theme of glorious death that Kaido have probaly came from the shit way Xebec died. Also some more things on God Valley, like the way he get the fruit. I would like if Kaido FB worked like Oden FB.

And of course Teach is the sucessor.




I like the theory of Shanks being his son and Buggy being a Celestial Dragon, both Bbabies were left behind in God Valley and Roger crew take them.
