And strong ambition? Tell me about Whitebeards ambition, or Katakuri, or a 7 year old Ace?

That is common will everyone in the series has, no one is willing to follow him except for gags

1.Whitebeard wanted to make the lives of his role countrymen better and protected said country alone from the WG.
2.Katakuri the same, he protected the whole crew from suffering defeat and above all else he had pride in being undefeated
3.Ace never backed down from a fight even against a pirates worth 15m he didn't back down, mind you he was 9

This people have one thing in common, they would rather die than lose sight of their ambition

While Sanji on the other hand threw away his ambition because he said it was impossible, All Blue for him was just a dream he never wanted to achieve, the older he got the more he stopped dreaming of it, this all changed when he meets Luffy, Zoro and Usopp who said they would rather die than give up, something Sanji already did.
Face it Sanji is a follower not a king, he never has been and he will never be!

- Dressrosa/Zou when he lead literally half the straw hats through a battle with big mom and into enemy territory.

- WCI he was shown as the leader of the Germa 66 and literally stranded above them.

And has Sanji also never backed down and faced death from protecting his crew? It’s not like he didn’t do so in Baratie, Arlong Park, Drum, Skypeia, Thriller Bark, Dressrosa, and WCI. No he hasn’t. His will to protect is more than strong.

3. Because Luffy didn’t lose sight of his dream either?

Did you forget post Marineford when Luffy stated he was too weak and can’t become the pirate king. Does he no longer deserve CoC?

4. Threw away his ambition because it was too hard

Literally not what happened at all. He did so because he wanted to protect Zeffs treasure as Zeff was one of the few people in his life who treated him kindly. It wasn’t that it was too hard it was because he by Zeffs own words “Was biting his own spear of grit” to pay back Zeff for his kindness.

The reason Viola switched sides was because she put her faith in Luffy and Law to beat Doffy, Viola used the giro giro no mi to read Sanji's thoughts and saw their plan to beat Doffy that's why she helped, she didn't help because of Sanji LOL.
