Here's the notable thing: The World Government as a whole are reactionary villains. Imu already won 800 years ago, and it's only finally now that their grip on the world is starting to slip. But Teach is a proactionary villain, he, like Luffy, are going out and starting trouble for the WG. In fact, one of his ships is near Egghead....where Caribou is....who has knowledge of the location of Pluton and Poseidon.

The WG seems all-powerful because they've had 800 years of absolute dominance, but in two years, Teach went from a nobody to an Emperor, and will soon, be even worse. Both Luffy *and* Teach, alongside Vivi and Shirahoshi will be the ones to start the collapse of the WG.

Sanji has no Advanced Haki forms. His only arsenal is regular Haki ( not the best one at it ) + some mere fire inferior to Mera/Magu.

I can see luffy and blackbeard joining forces to beat imu and after imu is beaten, luffy defeats blackbeard.

Also, luffy enemies usually have a change of heart so kaido and big mom are definitely coming back to help luffy this time, kaido will understand that luffy is joyboy and therefore will help him to change the world.

Also, I just want to note, the WG is still a highly dangerous threat, and will remain so until the very end. BUT....their strength is finally starting to wane. No more Warlords, nations are starting to rebel, the SSG has also rebelled, and the secret of the Empty Throne is about to be revealed soon.

It’s either the WG or some unknown like the Sea Devil.

Imu is basically portrayed as some kind of omnipotent devil imho. Maybe due to his DF.

Both his ominous, shadow-like appearance and even his one attack so far ("devil's tail") are classic references to the devil. As is their way of addressing themselves as "Mu", which also means "void".

In a way Imu is portrayed very, very similar to FMAs "Dwarf in a flask", whose original appearance and attacks are strikingly similar to Imu. Heck, even him acting as "God" with his homonculus servants etc. fit perfectly.

As of right now I'm pretty sure it will turn into a huge battle royal and in the end everyone standing (pirates, marines, revolutionaries) will team up against Imu and the Gorosei, bc they truly want to take their "Great Cleansing" to the extreme and just kill everyone with some crazy shit plan.

Oda added Imu cutting BB's poster amongst with Luffy and Ancient Weapon for a reason.

Issue with this is the actual story goes out of its way to say that Finding One Piece will lead to the final war.

Whitebeard says it as he dies, and so does Roger in Oden's flashback.

Also, i liked the comment from a few pages ago of gandhi being the sword god.

The whole ''king of hell'' stuff definitely has a link to all the demonic symbologism with gorosei, its is a natural progression from the edgy ''king of hell'' to WSM to Sword God.

1- WB said finding One Piece will turn world upside down, didn't say any war.

2- Even if Oda is lying that story won't finish after finding One Piece, finding One Piece doesn't make BB disappear, Luffy can find One Piece, fight Government and BB can still be the last opponent. When Roger become PK, other pirates didn't start to obey him, WB was still his biggest rival as well as even Shiki.

Literally says, on page, that a great war is coming once someone inherits Roger's will.

Roger's will is this:

You can put 2 and 2 together. Said person cannot fight the WG until they know everything and have One Piece.

Because its not Pirates job to fight Government and Marines, its Revolutionaries job. Thats why Roger was early, there was no Revolutionaries to encourage people to fight Government back.

Government getting taken down by a Pirate would mean nothing for the people, people and the Revolutionaries will replace the Government not Luffy or Roger as pirates.

Thats why Luffy is fighting Shichibukai and other Pirates, and they are getting arrested later for betraying the government. Who will arrest a royalty? For what? LOL. Luffy has no reason to fight for the people, he is a pirate, a criminal.

Like I've said, the final villain will be a mishmash between Blackbeard and the WG and Marines. We're literally in the final saga. There's no room for big arcs for BB, the Marines, and WG. There's no way BB is a throwaway while the WG does war without their military force.

Yup, probably. Oda would still hide Imu if Imu was the final arc, then everyone will fall first then Imu would show up. Oda already revealed Imu as a fighter as well as Gorosei before Shanks and BB fall. Compare that to someone like Kaguya, no one knew Kaguya was going to be FV because no one expected that, Imu was suppose to be a secret like that if it was the FV arc.

That´s exactly why pirates and revos will take WG down TOGETHER.

Its still Revolutionaries job to handle it mainly. Thats the whole purpose of their existence, fight against government. Luffy doesn't give a shit about being Revolutionary.
