World War 3

China has been waging economic, cyber, and more recently descreet chemical warfare on the majority of the rest of the world for decades, they don't want to get into direct conflict with the US because although they have an advantage when it comes to numbers they don't hold a candle to our military force.
China's biggest military achievment was building a giant wall. They are not good fighters. Also, you say they have the numbers...i don't agree.China has a lot of internal issues if a global war happens they might have a civil war among themselves because they don't all see themselves as the same people,i heard rumors that the ccp fears a military coup.Nothing is as it seems.China might from fall from within.

I think what Adam is trying to say, is that the ""archrival"" of the US should have been able to annihilate a basically third world country using only conventional warfare in mere weeks but we all saw what happened....

It makes sense (in a way) they're not fighting in a desert and they can't use " the big guns " tehcnology advanced a lot and they for sure have have better military tech as u say but they'd wipe out too many civilians

The only thing that is keeping this alive is the fact that they have a lot of nukes and u should treat that a lot more carefully....
Ukraine is not a third world country. They had one of best the military in Europe. The Russians are sending kids with no will to fight and old soviet equipment and kit.

You seem to misunderstand something, America is very powerful, by FAR the most powerful military right now and they benefit from other countries coming to them asking for aid in such situations, you only need to look at the three main regions of US military activity over the world :
USA competes with Russia in Ukraine and has NATO members bordering Russia.
USA competes with China in the South China Sea and has many allies surrounding China (Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Philippienes)
USA competes with Iran in the Middle East and has allies there (Saudi Arabia, Isreal...etc)
The USA also has major military presence in these regions, either as military bases or Fleets :
America wouldn't want any of these countries to stand up on their own two legs and become "independant", why ? Because America's influence will start to fade in that case, Europeans before the war got into the habit of acting really cocky and trashing America until this war came around, then it became clear why European states are still America's vassal states, they cannot protect themselves without America, exactly how America likes it.

It is kind of funny that the strongest military in the EU is probably Greece, mainly because of grievances with another NATO member, Turkey.
None of that escapes my understanding, and while it is extremely advantageous for us to have troops stationed around the globe ready at a moments notice, it would be equally advantageous to have strong allies.

If you look at that map you'll see that the majority of our foreign troops are in either Germany (our foothold to protect all of our European allies from a Russian invasion by way of land) or Japan/South Korea (our main foothold in the pacific to maintain a balance of power with the only 2 major world military forces Russia and China). Those 2 areas merely extend our reach and act as a primary line of defense in another world war scenario, they don't compensate for weak allies that all rely solely upon us to maintain peace and balance with the 2 communist superpowers that threaten the rest of the free world.

Bullets don't hurt. But Taxes do.
Russia right now are in a bind. They underestimated Ukraine and wasn't ready for a real war. Utilizing more heavy artillery could lead to more war crimes, which in turn leads to more sanctions and isolation for Russia, sinking its GDP and forcing them to rely more on another country(like China) putting itself in debt. If Russia continues as they are, their GDP slowly decreases anyways and if they lose the war, could destroy Putin's power and regime.

They are forcibly drafting their citizens and are HEAVY on the propaganda, but is still losing favor with their people.

You don't need that many troops in the rest of the world, what matters is having a base and just enough troops to launch operations within that theater, America has high concentration around China and Russia because they are the biggest threats, but notice the majority of the world is colored and has US troops active there(publicly), not to mention what we don't know about like intelligence agencies in those areas, plus proxies.
The US has many allies/proxies standing with it, but they keep them in need of America so that they ensure they don't drift away. Like the Kurds in Syria, they are US allies and America helped them control about a quarter of Syria, but also makes sure to keep enough space for Turkey to launch operations against them to keep them in check. America likes to keep its allies balanced against their enemies, so that they may only gain the upper hand when America jumps in.

They sent some african nuclear engineering student to the front and he died. They lack man power. This war won't go on for very long.I don't know when it will end,but i don't see it lasting another year.

I was keeping an eye on the signs of a potential civil war in China prior to covid, which actually started right after what is being called the Shanghai protests which was in fact a lot closer to a full on civil war, with armored vehicles being moved against the civilian population disguised as delivery trucks with plywood (or something similar) added to the sides but not able to disguise the tracks like those on a tank. Crowds of college students having to use umbrellas to try and form a wall to protect from crowd control gas, etc.

When I mentioned chemical warfare I was talking about how the vast majority of electronic inhalants (nicotine vapes filled with who knows what other extremely toxic chemicals) that the world consumes being manufactured in China.

As far as military force they are outmatched and know it, they just built their first aircraft carrier in the last decade, they don't have anywhere close to the military capabilities of the US or even Russia. But a 3rd world war won't necessarily be waged in the traditional or expected sense especially with the advancement of technology.

Hell China even gets a piece of every penny spent by children on mobile and video games. With Chinese companies like tencent games pushing the industry towards pay to play and adding countless features and customizations that kids have to pay to access they have a constant flow of income from oblivious children and their parents who are funding it.

Meanwhile China is colonizing parts of Africa by building their infrastructure and cities with Chinese funding.

Don't forget about afghanistan.China will build stuff there too.

All dictatorships will eventually rot from within. Not that americans or europpeans are saints or anything, but they certainly have more freedoms...

That sounds like quite a few excuses, contradictions and shifting the blame to me.

America is to blame for keeping our allies weak yet were the only reason our allies are strong enough to maintain. You're upset that we have small amounts of forces stretched across the globe to help our allies yet you're upset that we aren't giving more aid which would require a larger presence.

I don't think China is afraid of USA or any other country tbh

they are taking the backseat cause a war requires huge sum of money
I think that too. They just want to get richer and let the other nations duke it out and need to buy stuff from China.

What food is that on your avi?

I don't even want to talk about recent events in Afghanistan. Biden ruined the extraction of our forces leaving behind billions in classifieds tech that the Chinese immediately took control of to reverse engineer. Not to mention all the work we've done in the area was for nothing since the taliban immediately regained control of the area and the fact that I personally lost a good friend in the bombing in Kabul last year

damn...i'm sorry about your friend.Yeah, leaving behind all those weapons was the dumbest thing ever.

I didn't blame you or anyone, there is no blaming in politics. Unless you are Biden talking on a manga forum.

Like I said, America likes its allies good enough, not too strong(to drift away from them) but not too weak(they become deadweights).
The US also gives them aid depending on the situation, Ukraine wasn't recieving as many weapons before the war, a lot of it was transported after the war started. The US put plans to rapidly arm Ukraine in case of a Russian invasion, which worked out well for them so far.
America having troops across the globe is proof of its overwhelming military might and large infulence worldwide, something it needs to keep its place as the world's greatest superpower.

Lmao no I'm not some senile decrepit carrier politician, but as far as the blame goes you are blaming America for our allies weakness, saying that the US likes to keep our allies weak enough to remain dependent which isn't entirely the case, some allies that used to be enemies sure we wouldn't want someone like Germany regaining formidable power given their track record, and a country like South Korea could easily be consumed by North Korea with the likes of China or Russia without our intervention.

The US gave Ukraine aid to save them from being conquered and to help them maintain their independence because they were incapable of doing so on their own, however it is not the fault of the US that Ukraine was unable to maintain their freedom without our assistance. It is not our responsibility to build up our allies fighting forces and we're not actively slowing their growth to keep them under our thumb.

It is not the responsibility of the United States to arm our allies yet we do what we can without stepping across boundaries that would send the world into another world war, our allies just get complacent in times of peace rather than progressing with the times and preparing for the next catastrophe.

You can blame us for not doing more and you can be mad about us doing too much but you can't have it both ways, regardless while our allied nations are worried about what we're doing they are neglecting their own responsibilities to advance in a way that ensures they are able to protect themselves.
