That might be true, but I really trust Oda, he isn't a Kubo (bleach), or an Oku (gantz), he really loves his story and already knows how it ends. A ultratipycal shonen way to resolve his masterpiece... It just doesn't feel right...

yes i'm rewatching it together with some youtuber one piece reactors :) never watched the whole show tbh, i'm more of manga person, and have re-read one piece over and over

But my impression is that his new designs is what he enjoys doing most, rather than what we want. I enjoy it too, so I don't mind.
I don't really understand why'd anyone dislike WCI either, one of my faves recently.
