Questions & Mysteries WSM & WSC have no competitors?

#4
Mihawk’s title isn’t shit but I do think it’s lame that Zoro has 0 challengers on his path to becoming the strongest swordsman

No noteworthy rivals, honestly no rivals at all outside of 2 nameless Okama

So many people in One Piece use a sword but none of them talk about trying to become the WSS or challenging Mihawk at some point in their lives

Just like they don't talk about aiming for the other two titles. Is it lame that nobody does aim to become WSC?

Zoro's goal is very personal and will bring him nothing other than personal gratification over a promise to a death friend. No benefits come from holding the title, so no one guns precisely for that. However, any character wielding a sword is automatically literally a contender to be the strongest and in the race whether they aim for it, for PK or for admiral.

Why is it that there are no competitors about the titles of WSM & WSC ?

I've been told that Mihawk's title is shit because only Zoro cares about it but what about the other two ?
Are these titles shit aswell ?
Their title is a flex only because Mihawk's titlte holds some value in the world of One Piece..

If Oda didn't give the WSM/WSC titles, Mihawk being the WSS would be even more meaningless.. :milaugh:
