Since Law is and will allways be stronger than zoro and was confirmed swordsman, will Oda change hes status? becouse from the way Oda is telling the story he clearly wants Kid Law and Luffy lead this generations, be the strongest pirates.... Zoro aint ever beating Law unless he becomes WSS after EOS and 10 year time skip.... what is your opinion on this ? Killer and Zoro are portrayed as equals and rivals too... so no way killer will beat law as well, that wouldnt make sense at all...
Considering the number of pages, good bait, eh Zolo? :smoothy:

Law is irrelevant here, he might use a sword but his DF is still the source of 80+ perecent of his power, so he is not in the same pure sword skill category as Zoro and Mihawk are. Also, pirate leaders of the generation have nothing to do with WSS, Mihawk himself, while being considered a legedary pirate, was never considered a leader of the pirate generation like WB, BM, Roger, Rocks etc. Zoro only became a pirate so he can achieve his goal of becoming a WSS, he doesn't really care about pirate stuff. Both Zoro and Mihawk are swordsmen first and pirates second. So Law can stay stronger than Zoro but Zoro will still be the WSS.

How can zoro be the strongest swordsman in the world if he's not the strongest swordsman

Zoro is more famous as Pirate hunter than a pirate.

Seems like we are inventing new categories of swordsmen...
Mental gymnastics have reached new levels.
Soon enough, we will have a category of swordsmen+Law&Shanks. :milaugh:
Oda is not the best at characterizing skills and abilties so we the fans do it for him

Hakiman
Devilfruit swordsman
Pure Swordsman
Samurai

mihawk is merely the most skilled pure swordsman :)

Why is Oda writing himself into a corner? What is this baseless assumption? You don't know how things will progress and how characters can be elevated, so why assume that Oda wrote himself into a corner? I doubt it tbh and Zoro will surpass Law's swordsman skills, that's the point.
You can't say, because Law fights Blackbeard or took out Big Mom, it automatically implies that Zoro's endgame goal is getting further away is utter bullshit.

Okay, let me explain this with a non One Piece made up characters so that there are no agendas involved. Imagine two cooks, let's call them Bob and Doug. Bob specializes in making Ramen, wants to be the best ramen master in the world and is not that good at making other dishes. Doug makes awesome ramen but he also makes awesome bolognese, amazing paella and many other great dishes. However, even though Bob can't make all the amazing dishes Doug can, he can make better ramen than him, and that is the only thing he cares for. Now answer me this, between Bob and Doug:
a) Who is a better cook?
b) Who is a better ramen master?

Food metaphor always make me laugh but it's solid.
But how's Doug Wellington?

But in the case of OP, both Bob and Doug are competing at fighting and nothing is off limits.
Zoro accepted that game when he said he is willing to bite a neck off in order to win.
Zoro is simply #1 of the One Piece world, the sooner yall accept that the more you will enjoy OP.
