Teach and Luffy are fated to meet at the end
They will be the only ones still in the race
Shanks and CG will fall before Teach and Luffy fight
Buggy + Shanks alliance vs Teach was hinted since they were kids
Both Buggy and Teach freed prisoners
Both rose up to Yonko status by gaining powerful dudes
Both have lucks
Both are linked to Shanks
Him losing to Luffy again isn't something exciting nor does it progress the story
Lucci clashed Luffy and the fight wasn't wasn't that serious from luffy side...that's how Oda treats old villains beaten by vs Luffy, unless they're top tiers

Other than BB,
Joyboy and his crew will fight Imu and his gang to save the world
Mihawk and Shanks can fall, it won't save the world or NW.

With Oda writing style (i.e makes his main characters underdogs no matter what) do you think that it is plausible that one of the main characters enter the final with a « World’s strongest » title attach to his name ?
Zoro will become the WSS when Luffy will accomplish his real dream. Oda already disregard being PK has the endgame goal.

Luffy, because that is what the series has set up: Luffy meeting, fighting and surpassing Shanks. And yes, the fighting part has been talked about twice by Luffy. The reverse (my profile pic) has been strongly alluded to by Shanks. The "meeting" part gets repeated every so often. And the "surpass" part gets repeated as well.
People have indoctrinated themselves on Blackbeards importance that he can just offscreen Shanks' entire Yonko crew without Luffy around. It is absolute pure headcanon to think that these 2 are fighting without Luffy present, and if they do, that itll lead to anything major. Theres too much set up on either character losing without Luffy. Yes, this GOES for Blackbeard too

Provide any factual information that states Blackbeard is killing Shanks lol. There is nothing in this story implying it.
There is only the fact that they have history and that they may clash in the future (be it with or without Luffy), but nothing states one person and his entire crew are losing to the other.

Luffy will beat shanks and Blackbeard around the same time. Around the time the 4th poneglyph is found. The defeat order of side characters doesn’t really matter
