But it doesn't make logical sense. Oda never explained how between times when Luffy's recovering his Haki and stamina from Gear 4th was able to hold off Cracker and his biscuit soldiers when before Cracker easily overwhelmed a pretty fresh Non-G4 Luffy with Haki. It's on Oda as a writer to make a reasonable explanation why Cracker wasn't able to win once Luffy ran out of G4.
Nope. Even without Haki from Cracker, his biscuit soldiers were able to hold off a Kong Organ comfortably enough to put G4 on the backfoot. G2 isn't doing anything to a biscuit soldier.
He had Brulee with him, which allowed him to escape the Mirror World whenever he wanted, leaving Katakuri stuck in the dimension. There's no such means of escape for Luffy against Cracker, and even then there are a lot of problems with the Katakuri fight that Oda written in to gift Luffy his 2nd undeserved W in WCI, but I digress.
If anything Luffy was buffed as not only did he have Nami to aid him in the fight, but also the whole forest thanks to Nami having Big Mom's Vivre Card, so it was a 1 v 3000 in Luffy's favor. In retrospect I realized that Nami was hard carrying Luffy's ass that whole fight, and even with such massive help the fight still came down to Cracker not using Hardening on his blade when he went to stab Tankman Luffy because plot. I don't see how you can take away that Luffy was nerfed in anyway in his fight againast Cracker.
1.- Luffy used just once Bound Man against Cracker, once Luffy failed to bypass his defense, no reason to use the same strategy, if we use Anime to show us how the battle went, after Bound Man, Luffy found Nami and she instantly used her rain against those cookies. Luffy is still able to run at full speed after bound Man if he doesnt have damage.
2.- Kong Organ might be the weakest attack Luffy has in a single hit... I mean, due the speed Luffy needs in Kong Organ, he wont be able to use full power at his punches yet they are still strong in multiple attacks. But you have 1 thing wrong, Luffy was breaking them like butter. A single Kong Gun broke the full soldier and an attack of Cracker:
3.- Well, you do realize that Cracker didnt chase Luffy? Cracker stood behind his Biscuits, act as if Cracker would directly go against Luffy without his shields.
Luffy can out run that Cracker much easier than what he did against Katakuri, he even ran away Big Mom and multiple veterans while carrying Bruelee.
As I said, Cracker's best strategy was to wait for the perfect moment, aka Oda said 800 threat vs Luffy's will to eat:
4.- Nami helping Luffy is the bigget excuse for Cracker's huge L. I would rather say that Cracker failed badly to take down even Nami which directly was weaking him, but did he change? Nothing, he kept the same strategy to use his useless Biscuits. Talk about induced stupidity, I wonder how did it took Luffy 11 hours to win when Cracker's DF was negged... as I SAID, it was Luffy who had this stupidity induced.
Wet those biscuits once, use Bound Man and get through them and hit Cracker once is all what was needed, but Oda chose 11 hours so Luffy and Sanji could meet..... wow.
