Yamato's reasoning is flimsy and goes against one of the core themes of One Piece. Also a villain referred Yamato as a male and as I explained before people have good reasons to doubt villains.

Yamato is somewhat of double personality. She can be Oden(he) or Yamato(she). Since SHE is introducing herself both ways you are not respecting her choice by refering to him as Yamato. If you want to call Yamato of he then you should call Oden not Yamato.
