Yamato is the most annoying oden jock rider in history and is so dedicated to LITERALLY being Oden.. She also despises her father....yet fights exactly like Kaido with a club and not a sword.

she literally says what she wants out loud but keep harping about the gender for no reason
luffy wants to be pirate king. why isnt he fighting with a sword then? thats exactly how stupid your argument about fighting style sounds. you can aspire to be like someone without copying their fighting style especially when you havent seen them fight.
especially when both luffy and yamato learn the fighting styles of their respective parental figure/parent with whom they disagree with.
luffy - garp - brawling/punching based fighting - garp wants him to be a marine while luffy wants to be pk, garps rival.
yamato - kaido - club based style - kaido wants her to be shogun while she wants to be free like oden, kaido's "rival".

I was also wondering why the fuck she fights using her father's style rather than her braindead idol Lolden.
I don't know. It's not like we know a lot on Roger's backstory. Even his journey is still partly a mystery.
Oden still grew up around Samurai his whole life. It's easy to adopt your own sword style when you have something to work with. Yamato only really had Kaido, who himself, takes offense to Yamato imitating Oden. It stands to reason Kaido wouldn't want Yamato to learn swordsmanship as to avoid the Oden connection.

Luffy does not literally want to be Roger. He wants the title he had. Yamato does want to be oden so your comparison fails. And someone who literally wants to be oden should see how important swords are for him.

Kaido's been beating her ass since she was 8. It's the only fighting style she knows. Is she supposed to just magically know how to use a dead man's fighting style? It's either that or nothing, and if she went with nothing, then how else was she supposed to join in the War 20 years in the future that the Samurais gave their life so she could participate in? Did you guys learn nothing from her flashback?
Her relationsip with kaido is the worst plotline in the series. I don't like sanji but his relationship with his family was a million times better.
Oda doesn't even know what to do with kaido and yamato, does kaido wants her to be the shogun of new onigashima? Or does he wants to kill her? Does he wants to add her to his army? Or maybe was he grooming her to be his next worthy opponent?
It's fine if she doesn't use swords, we already have izo who's not suited for swordsmanship, but completely adopting kaido's style is just cheap, jack was with kaido since he was 8 too, and he has his unique fighting style, most one piece characters developed their own fighting style at a very young age.
The way she got her devil fruit is so random, if kaido valued the fruit he should've locked it in a very secure room, but noooo, yamato got one, ulti stole two, kaido couldn't get any more incompetent.
Also what was her personality before she knew oden? Did she have different dreams? Why didn't she protested when oden was executed? It seemed like a mature action from an immature brat.
Her current dream is to get free and sail the sea and become strong, a very underwhelming dream for someone with a very strong CoC.
