Zoan is fine if you want to win against 99% of people. It gives you strenght, raw power, speed everything. Perfect for people who love to fight and have ambition. Expecially mythical zoan who gives you another hax power like impenetrable defense, regen, change your size.
Paramecia you need to be careful, because you can have hax power but if you are not strong or smart enough, you are fucked up. But it's the most useful one.
Logia is the easiest, no need to worry. Only haki users are a threat but you can also wreck them so hard. Just avoid any top tiers , yc, vet lvl which are really few in the world.
So i would rather have a mythical zoan : strenght + hax. But a paramecia is cool (law, robin, katakuri, mr.3, bon chan or shiryu DF are useful af).

If I had to choose a DF and if I could choose any DF my main rule would be that : do the powers granted by the DF can be learnt other ways ?
For exemple the guy who can send air slash with his fingers : if you can learn rankyaku no need to this DF.
Abou the Zoans : just a boost in strength is not really valuable because you can be mad strong with training without DF. Garp, Luffy, Zoro, Sanji etc. Even durability can be learn by tekkai or training.
Flying is no need if you can learn Geppo.
The only real add for Zoans is the "healing" factor and stamina. Or if the animal has other propertites

If you are the type of people that likes brawling or gymnastics then Zoan is the way to go. Mythical Zoan is exception cuz it's more hax and more unique than the normal and ancient versions.
If you are type of people that likes AOE or causing the best DC then Logia is for you.
If you like overall rounded and supernatural powers then Paramecia is definitely a good choice. Plus the special Paramecia is a bonus as well.
For me, Paramecia > Logia > Zoan anyday
