I am curious about this community favs character. So I'll start with mine :
1. Crocodile - the fact that he was the best villain of the series (at least for me), his performance in ID and MF, and his character growth in term of personality during MF, easily makes him the Champion of my list. And also, he clearly has giant balls! Eventho he know that he is weaker, he didn't hesitate to attack Whitebeard, Hawkeye, and even bloodlusted Akainu.
2. Jinbei - His incredible loyalty toward Whitebeard, his sacrifice for protecting FI, and a man that always keep his words, attracts my admiration for him. Not to mention how he block that Magma punch, how he spit on A Yonko face by leaving her crew in front of her family and guest, and how he block a Yonko attack and send her flying. And come on, he is the fuckin "Knight of the Sea" to begin with!
3. Akainu - The very definition of badassness, The red dog is an example of a true Leader of an army. How he did whatever it takes to win the war was a real General would do in real-life war.
4. Whitebeard - his white moustache is already epic enough to be on the list, not to mention the hype of being the Rival of the Pirate King, the world strongest man, and above everything : a loving father who forgive even his child that stabbed him.
5. Aokiji - Despite being one of the most influential man in the navy, he risked his life to let Nico Robin (which is the enemy of the world) slip through his finger. A very understanding man who knows that there is a Grey area in life. He obviously stands on his own principle and plants his two feet in those "Grey" area instead of the "white" side of the navy. Not to mention that he is once again risking his life by being affiliated with the Blackbeard Pirate.
6. Roronoa Zoro - the Pirate hunter is an example of . A man who doesn't hesitate to throw his pride by begging on his Arch enemy to train him, just for the sake of being stronger so that he can protect the crew while following his dream. Not to mention his sacrifice during Kuma incident and being the only one who manage to scar the WSC for the first time after 20 year. And the fact that he block a Yonko's combination attack is unthinkable, even tho he suffered heavy injuries afterwards.
7. Vinsmoke Sanji - He is certainly the one with the biggest heart in the crew. How he follow the example of his mentor Zeff by giving food to his enemy certainly takes my heart, and also his principle to not hurting women is just what a definition of a true gentleman. Not to mention his effort to save Germa 66 that gave him a horrible childhood experience is just an outstanding act of forgiveness. And we know, forgiving is way harder than holding a grudge or to take revenge.
8. Teach. The Blackbeard pirate is a definition of a true pirate, or perhaps even more. How he manage to fool the world by joining the Sichibukai just to infiltrate ID so that he gain strong follower and trigger the war that took out the greatest Yonko so that he could take the Wss's DF is already an unimaginable achievement eventho luck plays a great role on it. Not to mention how he manage to stay low profile under the flag of Whitebeard while gave Shanks a scar on the face.
9. Fujitora - Despite being new to the navy, he doesn't hesitate to make the navy's face to kiss their own ass by telling the truth to the world. Although being blind, his eyes are sharp enough to see the inefficiency of the warlord system and successfully disband it without consulting his superior, knowing the fact that he would face the wrath of Akainu. Yepp, since when do a Tiger afraid of a Dog?
10. Shanks - Sadly we know so few about him. But his portrayal throughout the series is just too awesome. To think that a pirate could gain audience with the gorosei is just beyond believe. Not to mention how his mere presence ended the war like a boss.
Honorable mention:
11. Monkey D. Dragon - while we know almost nothing about him, the theme of revolution already hype him. He could easily go to the top 10 later.
