He gets shading around his eyes the entire time since he snaps. And he begins fighting more recklessly afterwards where instead of dodging or blocking like he’s done the entire fight just focuses purely on attack.

That’s reckless.

Youre trying to make excuses for Jinbe when its simply, this was the strength of Land Jinbe. That’s what Oda showed us. In future fights, he’ll get access to more water as Franky and Robin grow stronger, but that’s about it. He’s not suddenly joining the different power group after Oda once again separates Zoro and Sanji from the crew by calling them wings.
