well , there is still Kaido/Rocks flashback wich should get quite a portion of chapters , then the whole CP0 , Kazenbo , Zoro grim reaper plot , and the Luffy vs Kaido itself , it seems very reasonable to me

Kaido doesn't have to be around for much of that. We're still on track better than we were at Dressrosa or arguably WCI, so Oda can still do worse, but it would have to be deliberate and insane

Don't quote me on this, but 49, in Japanese wordplay, IIRC, can sound like Yon-Ku (similar to Yonko), which some people predict to be the end of the Yonko saga with ZKK to close it out.

Death is very important for Zoro because the whole point of buddhism is that after Death there is Rebirth = Zoro powerup
