don't know what would change has Zoro learns about COC usage.

Haki is intentionality… Like I pointed out in the OP post AdvCoA is Alabasta and Wano is described as “the ability to make your sword cut steel or not even cut a paper if you want”

there’s a way Haki Kind of does what you willingly intend it to do… Hence why Gaban tells Luffy the only thing he needs to damage the Holy knights is using his CoC

You have to INTEND to damage them with CoC specifically and you can do it

Zoro technically can already damage the Holy knights but if he’s like using KoH that adds COA on top of his CoC then he’s wasting haki… Zorp has to understand that he Has CoC first of all, and then understand it’s only CoC that works on these guys so that he doesn’t waste CoA… And then he can cut these immortals with intentionality

It has nothing to do with CoC but people always think it does.
Also, I wouldn't say its a technique per se even tho it might seem that way. It us a manifestation of desire, the human evolution...

But it's not a from, it's a technique that uses illusions. Now it's possible zoro may not it's a illusion because he's not on the receiving side and he's the one casting it so he doesn't recognise it.

Enies lobby is usually remembered through rose tinted nostalgia glasses but if Zoro unlocked Asura today the meltdown in the community would be insane. It was one of the biggest asspulls I’ve seen and it’s still not been given a proper explanation 700 chapters later

The explanation was given the moment it was introduced.
Ashura is an illusion. Zoro doesn't grow 3 heads and 3 arms. It only looks that way to everybody else

He's not willing it into existence tho, he is creating an illusion to make it look like that.
The illusion is not increasing his power.

I think he knows he has it, but can only use it under strict conditions. Everytime he uses it, he's heavily injured, and making a desperation attack. There will probably be a way for him to learn to control it, but for now, it's conditional.

I don't think he is unaware of Asura. Specially after using it to eat as a joke from Oda (really poor joke, like current Marvel level of joke).

About Alabasta he simply not knowing it was called CoA doesn't mean he wasn't aware of it. It is way different from CoC where he knows what it is and for no reason at all he doesn't know he has it even after knocking it out those fodders against King which there is no fucking explanation for him to be not aware he did that because he has fucking CoO.

I'd say that Oda joke about Zoro using Asura to eat and drink more sake is his away to tell us if Asura is a illusion or not. So it is real he really creates more heads and arms and I fucking hate it.

So there could be a difference between what we see on page and what Zoro himself sees in the story

also the names of attacks are regularly metaphorical so Zoro could just think he’s doing a metaphorical 9 sword style

this idea that Zoro is so clueless as to not know what powers he has is a cheap storytelling tactic to set up Zoro not knowing what Ashura is.

This is similar to how Zoro used AdvCoA in Alabasta before actually learning regular CoA with direct training from Mihawk…

Oda is setting up that Zoro has been using Ashura for Years now (as in Years in the story itself) but he somehow HAS NO FUCKING IDEA what he’s doing

The reason Zoro’s Ashura isn’t treated the same way as Luffy’s gears and Sanji’s diable jambe even though they are all power ups from the same arc… Is because Zoro, somehow for 2 years now, has no idea he has Ashura… same way he didn’t know he had CoA in Alabasta and didn’t know he had CoC

This is set up for Zoro at the last minute to actually recognize that he has this bizarre ability to cut people with his soul and then he’ll get some power up from actually understanding he has Ashura at the very last moment when the series is ending

How ? It's not because no one told him he has CoC that Zoro doesn't know he has Ashura or that he doesn't use Santoryu.
