But remember when I said Luffy winning the popularity poll will backfire on him? Yep that just adds more proof that Zoro is Jesus aka the Weekly Messiah of One Piece and Judge's sontards united together to vote Luffy means Luffy is indeed the Barabbas.

Answer, 3 arcs.
1. Impel Down arc: Luffy failed to save Ace, failed to defeat Magellan and ended up losing years of his lifespan.
2. Marineford arc: Luffy failed to save Ace, Ace died in front of him and ended up with Luffy having the worst break down in his entire life.
3. WCI arc: Luffy was betrayed by traitor kun, captured by Enraged army, treated as punching bag by Katakuri, lost his new ally Pedro, failed to beat Big Mom, and ended up with Big Mom and half of her army chased his ass all the way to Wano arc.
What is one similarity between the 3 arcs? Zoro wasn't present in the arc.
Just like there is a Latin phrase "Extra ecclesiam nulla salus", which means "Outside the Church there is no salvation". Same rule also applies to One Piece: There is no salvation when Zoro is not around.
