Speculations Zoro needs to beat Mihawk before Luffy becomes pirate king

why do people keep using the "mihawk and zoro are close because they trained together" when we literally have this panel of zoro saying mihawk is less human then his seraphim counterpart???

Mihawk being less human means the fight is still on this won't be a moment where mihawk lets zoro take the title from him:milaugh: if oda wants to insert him later, because maybe he has some connection to imu he can by all means make it happen.

Mihawk is a bored person and has been portrayed as a swordsman since the beginning...He never showed interest in anything but sword fighting
Oda always differentiates between Luffy and Zoro's enemies, that's why Mihawk didn't become Yonko
And even the name of Buggy Island is ironic...Luffy gave his opinion about Buggy...And at that moment everything was clear:kayneshrug:
What does this even have to do with what i said ?

Forget about Mihawk and powerlevels for a moment and you will see Buggy's (Oda's) pattern so far.
Luffy doesnt need to fight Buggy lol.
The fight at Raftel could have many groups. Some RA fights against WG troops, Zoro v Mihawk, Luffy v Imu or even BB v Luffy v Imu aswell.

From the beginning it had nothing to do with the power level, it's you Zoro fans who want Mihawk to repeat Roger's feat
I know Shanks will fall, and at least I don't believe the final Poneglyph related to the Burning Man and all about the mystery is supposed to be told to us first by Buggy..:kayneshrug:

Wtf are you saying man ?
When did i say anything about Mihawk repeating Roger's feat or that Buggy will find first the burned man first ?

How can i know lmao. We have zero clues about the last one.

A possible scenario is that the burned man might have a connection with the brokers, or an ex WG agent or whatever at this point.

That's why I asked this, if Luffy is going to be the first to meet Burnt Man, then he will find One Piece sooner and then the war with imu will probably start, who cares if someone else found One Piece?

Anyway, I don't even understand Cross Guild and Sabo and other fans anymore, maybe you are right:cheers:

Thats everyone's problem not only CG. Luffy might find it first thats no problem at all.

Oda could use Croco's intel/past and might end up to have some connection with this man.

When Garp and Aokiji trashed the 30-year teacher-student relationship, now it makes sense for Zoro and Mihawk to fight.
I think this is a better argument

It's always made sense for them to fight. We have manga proof that zoro is still aiming for mihawk his promise to luffy was restated when he unlocked adv coc which he can only achieve by defeating mihawk...In egghead zoro talks about mihawk being less human... the fight will happen we don't really have to look at garp and aokiji relationship, but i see where u are coming from.

People are actually questioning whether they will fight ? Insanity. Oda put Mihawk in Cross Guild for that very reason.

However, Mihawk fighting Zoro after the final war(Venus) is not happening.

I do agree on this, to be honest.

Luffy and Zoro's conversation on Zoro's dream plus his reflections while fighting Mihawk in Baratie do point to Zoro needing to be the World's Strongest Swordsman to be up to Luffy as Pirate King; the message conveyed is that such status is the very least Zoro needs to accomplish by the time Luffy accomplishes his own title.

Zoro defeating Mihawk right before Laugh Tale also makes the most sense considering how the plot is currently going and at this point I won't be surprised if the marines go down before the final fight for the One Piece and then we move to the last clash against the Government, Imu and company. The thing with Mihawk is that Oda has placed him in a group that is obviously going to get involved in the fight for One Piece (Mihawk and Crocodile pretty much lost the whole Cross Guild's organization to Buggy's speech, right now they will be alone if they decide to go against Buggy's goal since the rest of the army is following the clown to Laugh Tale), but such group doesn't feel, at the same time, as a serious contender: the only member of it that hasn't been defeated yet is Mihawk so he's the only one we should expect to get a serious versus when the time comes (having Crocodile, Bonez, etc. losing again the way the lost in Arabasta is redundant and completely pointless).

Everything feels almost too perfect for Mihawk crossing paths with Zoro again and challenging him one last time as his last obstacle before Luffy achieves his dream of Pirate King; especially because both Mihawk and Zoro have put Luffy's goal in a highest place than becoming WSS: Mihawk admitted Luffy's dream was harder than Zoro's, and Zoro put his own ambition aside for Luffy's when he asked Mihawk to train him. Oda writing their last duel as a parallel to Baratie where everybody is watching closely at Zoro fighting Mihawk, but this time winning, would be a nice way to wrap this subplot up so the Pirate King gets his World's Strongest Swordsman.
